Yes anything that doesn’t tangle up in the roses. I use whatever I have on hand usually I try not to buy anything to cover them if I am smart enough to plan ahead and save my leaves and grass clippings lol o have my moments.
@@creatingmygarden I finally got my computer working properly. It was a bad keyboard. I couldn't type anything. Yes it's cold here now too. I used Christmas trees on my tea roses for extra protection.
That is a really good idea another option for winter protection that would make a great video all these different options to protect plants for winter it’s a cool sunny beautiful day not much wind love it.🥰
All tucked in for a long winters sleep. Are you finding that fall has stretched out longer this year and yard work isn't as much of a rush? or is it similar to other years?
I keep expecting the forecast to say snow last year we had it for Halloween then it melted and I was still able to plant late into November that is rare here. We have a few things we need to get done so I hope Mother Nature waits a couple more weeks lol.
Evergreen boughs work great too. Bonny
