This bed will be interesting i think there is so many different colours i want to put more of these curves into the back border next and change that so many areas i want to change. Us gardeners are never done it seems lol.
I’m wondering about you piling up so much soil on top of the hydrangea crown, I’ve always been told to make sure to keep the top of the existing tree or shrub at the top of the soil, and best practice is to place it about an inch or so high and bring mulch up to it..🤷🏻♀️ The bed should be pretty and colourful! Thank you Brenda🇨🇦ZN4
@brendahayes3365 Hi Brenda yes good idea to be careful for sure. It actually looks like its planted deeper then it is. I will be wrapping these tree hydrangeas and will pull back the soil a bit when i do that i will give it a double check at the time as well. I also want to make a well around the hydrangea to keep moisture in. Thanks for reminding me to check this.
@peggy-ann1961 Thanks Peggy ha ha figure if i say the name enough someone will tell me the correct pronunciation. I am hoping to do more beds line these i am digging the big swoops. All different colours in them as well should make them interesting as i try to go with more perennials and less annuals.
Sorry I couldn't talk to you yesterday because I was having problem typing on my computer. It's still acting up. Jacqueline your garden is going to be gorgeous come spring! Bonny
I can't wait to see your garden tour in the spring. It is going to be beautiful with all the work you have done this year.

Great demo! That Hosta is pronounced Gwen-e-veer, like you did the first time. That bed will be lovely. Zen 3 Manitoba 🇨🇦👏🍁
