Thank you for this video. I've been trying to paint Irises and it was nice to hear you say they are not like other flowers so they are more challenging. Made me feel better why I'm having trouble. also very helpful about when to add the yellow. I like your style and ease when correcting a part of the painting.
Angela Fehr That is so true!! I'm getting more confident. I made a yellow Iris today which really looked good. Thank you again for all the tips you gave while painting. Very helpful.

This is so beautiful 😊💕
It's been an ongoing surprise - and battle - for me to create loose watercolours. Who would believe that letting go and being light and fluid was such a challenge? But it is.
This tutorial is fabulous and gives me something to aim for. Your lightness of touch is hard-won and requires practice and discipline, for me at least.
Thankyou for sharing this.
Excellent ! Thank you and much appreciated for sharing.
I watched The Spin Doctor's lecture on Opera Rose and that color completely freaks me out! I don't think I will ever use it. Beautiful tutorial.

Do you prefer hot or cold pressed paper?
Hi , what paintbrand you recommend ? Love your work btw
Sona Fisenkova i
is it bhush the one you recomended in your youtube video talking about watercolor material? #4 or #6 ?????? yu did not say the brand.
The little bug isn't making his own tracks anymore.
ocsurfgirl She killed it :(
👍
What blue are you using
i did 3 irises! how can I show you?
Good watercolour but shame about bug :((
Stopped watching when you killed the bug. He was probably on the iris as you picked it up and unlucky to meet human cruelty. If he bothers you, take it gently on a piece of paper and set it free outside- Life is (for me) greater than art. A person's a person, no matter how small". Dr Seuss
Give me a break🤪
It freaks me out to watch a left-handed person do anything....but great video!
I was watching this lesson with rapt attention until the artist squished the little bug running across her paper like it had less rights to live than she did. She could've just blown it off her paper and onto the ground...but instead, she chose to just squish it without a thought. How is art from the heart possible with no heart tall. So I stopped watching.
Guest Smith ...?...😃

She tried to brush the bug off her paper. She wasn't trying to kill it.
Guest Smith i thought the exact same thing.
