First time I see one of your tutorials and I love it. Thank you! Greetings from Spain.
I've been looking at Iris watercolor tutorials and so far you are the
best. I'm actually planning a tie dye shirt but instead of tying it I'm going to paint it. Thanks for the tips💙
Hi Clarice. I've watched a lot of tutorials on painting and iris, and yours is by far the best. Well done and thank you!!!
Wow thanks so much for the tutorial 😍😍😍
I believe the word you searched and requested is a "sepals" which functions by protecting the rising buds and by supporting the petals when in bloom.
Beautiful!
this is by far the best iris tutorial Ive seen and I think Ive seen them all! thank you so much Clarice!
All of them are beautiful!
Beautiful Clarice, blue is such a beautiful color😊 Thank you for sharing!
I am reaching myself to paint and love the way you teach! Your videos have helped me tremendously. Thank you !
So happy to read this. Keep on painting! 😬
Love the colors, and the blending is just beautiful as well. Great tutorial.
Thank you 🤗

Somehow I always default to flowers

Omgoodness! I’ve been looking for an amazing iris watercolor tutorial for years and this is the most beautiful one I’ve ever seen. Thank you for sharing your gift with us!!! Love, Jessica xox
So lovely to read this...however late lol...glad you found it useful!
Love, love, love it!! Great tutorial! Thank you for explaining your thought processes, especially about shadow and light and where you did the implied petal.
I try to be as explicit as possible...amidst all the ramblings of course lol
Thank you for this great tutorial, Clarice. Beautiful shades of blue and purple! Love the stripes too. I watched the video for the first time a day ago, and then painted along with you this afternoon. I was really pleased with how my first iris turned out but then I think I was a bit heavy-handed with the paint for the other two. I'll try painting along once again on the weekend to see if I can get all the blooms to turn out well. 😉😊
Thanks Anne, loved reading this detailed update. Hope you had some luck...given this message is late in coming your way.
loved it, me, i prefered it without the last details, but appreciate we are all different. I am so glad i found you, Loving your tutorials.
Thanks Pam for such kind words. I agree. Glad you're able to take what works for you. That's how we evolve. 🤗
Love it my Mother’s name was Iris.
Bravo! Beautiful irises….I’ve been struggling with irises the last 2 days and getting nowhere. I love your loose style. Your blues and purples are magnificent, my favorite colors to paint with. Question: on the second flower, top left of the top petal, was that last layer of deep blue applied on damp paper, or did you wait for the first layers to dry? Thank you.
