+Anna Ely Cool! Thanks for watching!
Hello Steve! Thank you for introducing me to this delightful lady who’s techniques are helping me to find my own style of painting. I like using different styles and free flow is one I realise I am quite good at which surprised me, all I needed to do was to sit back and let the brush and the paper do their work then like magic I have something I am so pleased to create and a new world of painting. I only found your channel a few days ago and already I am learning so much from you but best of all, I find I am conquering my watercolour fears that I wake up in the mornings so excited I look forward to painting, where before can I wanted to paint and looked at all my art materials with dread with no relaxing but more of a duty than a pleasure it now is. BIG THANK YOU for your hard work and kindness sharing what you know. Blessings from the Isle of Wight UK. 🌹🎨🌞
You're quite welcome!

👍
haha yet another video where I need to watch it more than once to catch on! Btw Steve, you look tickled pink to be partnering up with Angela, really nice to see you looking extra happy. :-)
This was awesome and I learned yet another technique that I love from a great watercolorist. Thank you and sure hope you do this again. Mixing both of your techniques in one painting will be so much fun.
+Janet Allen Thanks Janet.
The hint of yellow/orange behind the conifers could even imply the sun's location at the time, although your opinion may differ. I'm certainly no expert on shading or color layering, but when I heard Angela comment on the color there, "sunrise" was the word that popped into my head.
Mmm, my watercolor dreams came true!
👍
This was really good. I enjoy both of your art styles and the beautiful paintings that are produced.
👍
wonderful
A marvelous two-fer from my favorite watercolo(u)rists! Thank you both for sharing your knowledge. Hope you will plan more hijacks for the future.

Love your Carroll Shelby Tee!
Steve, really enjoyed this swap. Enjoyed your bird painting with the sepia & payne's grey. I've now subscribed to your channel. Thank you for making it possible to learn.
👍
Most interesting, many thanks.
+Want to learn Reidy 👍
Angela,
I am curious if you let the under layer is dry before putting in the darker trees. I did see some hard edges in the upper fir trees so I
am thinking some of it was dry. I enjoyed your lesson! In addition to the color mixing, I like the glow you achieve. Thanks.
nice...
Love that you all shared and swapped - I hope eventually you do a workshop for all of your fans - I am a fan of both of your channels. What about New England or Virginia in autumn? Used to live in Northern VA - so pretty in the fall. It's pricey there - so expensive. I was trying to think of places that are half way - for the two of you.. a really pretty place is Stonington Village, CT - right near Mystic. I see this as something for you all in the future - and I hope I can save up money and come! Also, what about those cruises they do up in New England/Canada during the autumn? Spend maybe 4 or so hours a day painting - and then tour etc. You could divide things up into looser, more abstract interests and realistic interests, etc. etc. - well, I guess I am not your manager! I just think it'd be great - maybe in a year or so? You could both hide from all the questioners for 1/2 or so of each day!:)
+Angie Wilson 😊
Magnifiquement faites vos videos...Bravo....sujet du négatif peut être ?
What brush is Angela using?
I think it's best to let the painting to the talking. In Mr MoW's case, we can tell that we are dealing with an accomplished artist, say from that nifty illustrrator's flick that instantly renders a bird or a bough or a brook. If anything, his accompanying patter underplays what is being achieved --- we are certainly not constantly being reminded that amazing things are happening on the paper, nor do we need to, since we can see for ourselves.
+Deipatrous Thank you for that!
