What PRP is doing for RBs is amazing and inspiring. The fear of blocks and heads becoming rarer and the parts not being able to withstand the stresses you wanna throw at them are pretty much gone at this point. I get that Nismo reproduces certain parts, but the prices they ask for are through the roof. Safe to say i'll be buying a lot from the PRP Catalog in the near future😃

You truly deserve a massive thank you from us as you are doing so much work to keep innovation of the RB platform at an unbelievable level. I can see nothing but success for PRP continuing into the future. I will continue to look to your products every time I'm making an upgrade on my car as quality is my only concern when I do so. PRP you guys have been an amazing company leading development in the rb space and the effort you guys have put in for your rb block and cylinder heads is awesome. It would be great to see sr20 development like this but that is probably just wishful thinking. Keep up the great work 👍

Just finished my Nitto 2.8 with Headgames head in an 05U. Already saving for a PRP crate engine. 3.2 Wide journal with an R0 cylinder head is definitely in my future! Thanks PRP for all you do for the community! I’m rocking thousands of $$ in PRP goodies on my build, and all of it is top notch!

I’m so stoked to see the community pumping so much R&D into these amazing engines from the 90’s that we all love so much. Guaranteeing they live on by any means possible. To think I won’t have to buy a busted up block and try to bring it back from the dead at a machine shop, then work around its defects to attain a power goal. This is truly inspirational. It’s no wonder so many major names are getting on board.

PRP is a step above the rest and moving to the next level quickly, can't wait to see the test videos and final results.
If we are ever going to compete at import vs domestic or any other US event we need to get away from the idea of having never ending pockets for rbs and jzs. I love my gtr but with the price of a solid 1800hp capable engine I could build an entire coyote car price of car included go mid 7s and go rounds in no prep. Hopefully once profit from the parts starts to pay for the tooling we can get these prices a little lower for the whole community. Moves in the right direction for sure. Can't be cheap developing a new product. I already want one.

You are not getting "in excess of 500cfm" (2:40) through a pair of 37.5mm valves at 28" of H2O. Thats a Cd over 1 for the valve curtain, not minimum cross section.

It's good to see shops stepping out into realms where only manufacturers and F1 teams were previously.
Hopefully it kicks off and they can keep expanding into the spectrum of other platforms while they've already gotten great insights into these projects.

This is a seriously awesome product. I'm not an RB guy, I wish we could have an updated 3SGTE head with better ports and chambers. That's a wet dream though.
The cost per unit on something like this is because of volume. They're not expecting to sell thousands of units so the high cost of development and production are being split between a small pool of buyers

PRP do some amazing stuff, the barra r35 coil kit looks wicked. might be worth the upgrade when i get my 3.8ltr bottom end and get into the 8k rpm range.
Im more excited about the tr6060 strait cut gear sets ive seen them working on.
it will be a dream come true if i can cruise to the track with stock quiet 5th and 6th gears, then be able to flat shift 1st to 4th down the 1/4 mile

Admire the work that PRP are doing. Even if a lot of it is only geared towards the 1000hp+ setups.
Will the R0 have any drawbacks if used on the setup between 500-600hp? I know bigger ports have less velocity so not nessarily good for lower power setups.
Its great to know that in the future if I need a block to replace my RB I can brand new upgraded block instead of trying to source a good used one.

just got back from 3 days of PRI, Platinum was in booth 2634 way at the far end of the Green Hall. btw that Mustang shown at Kelford was a 1000hp Ecoboost... err... Eco-BEAST.😀 fwiw even though we know a decent number of RHD GT-R's are already here in the States (still have pics on my phone of a mint Bayside Blue Nismo on TE37's i saw parked out front of a local Autozone back in Sept of '22) you may have seen the announcement that come January of 2024, the first production numbers of R34's will now be 25 years old and be officially legal for "mass import" into 'Murica. 😎
I would love to see a motor and head combo for high efficiency/mid power followed by the same, but for the 2jz. These videos are great btw.
I bet it’s on the way. He did say they were working on a cast JZ block to fill the void between stock oem blocks and billet blocks but obviously Dart beat them to the punch. I see them cranking out cast JZ heads in the future if the demand is there.
They are most likely working on it already, but Dart beat them to the block and someone already makes a billet head for the 2j.
@@lennixsingh626 yeah spoke to Dart at PRI specifically about the cast 2jz block and the latest update is that they'll be shipping in Feb 2024 (so just 2 months away)
I bought new head from Nissan, sadly without valves. Planning to put new Supertech valves in it. The cast block is what I am excited about :-)

My biggest question, are both heads going to be offered with HIP process? or is only the R1 head HIP cast?
Billet limits the oil and water passage paths. That's pretty much it on why it's not good for cylinder heads
will the new block and head compatible with of the shelf internals such as hks, tomei, and others?? really interested in these products. btw Im from Malaysia
