  • This is a Brink and Cotton bench vise. Made in USA.
"The "W" on the front is most likely for Wilton. Wilton bought Brink & Cotton in 1995 via the Wrenchwiki page and even has 2 pics of this vise." I would like to thank George for this comment!
It belongs to one of my close friends and he asked me if I can restore it.
I think, this rusty bench vise will be a perfect restoration opportunity for both of us.
A couple of years ago, I restored a Swivel bench vise very similar to this one. This Brink and Cotton vise is so rusty and also have some problems with its handles.
You can also find that Swivel bench vise restoration video in my channel.
I hope you enjoy watching this restoration video.
Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe more videos are coming soon.

You did a very nice job restoring this vice.
The "W" is most likely for Wilton. Wilton bought Brink & Cotton in 1995 via the Wrenchwiki page and even has 2 pics of this vise but much older looking.

It is a small vice, but some times you only need a small vice to get the job done. Nice refurbishing efforts. Thumbs Up!

I really liked the video except for the amount you begged for likes and subs.
It distracts from the video to have 4+ separate overlays and the sound on them is a bit loud compared to the video.
Good job on the actual restoration and camera work/editing it looked really nice.

Thank you very much for your comment, it matters a lot to me. Tbh I am not a fan of those animations either but every tutorial and also every successful channel advises to include those in videos... I will definitely turn down the volume of those animations and decrease the amount of appearance. Take care 👍🏻

      @@restorationmania Thanks for the reply.
Yeah I think if you did it one time somewhere in the video, probably close to the beginning of it with less volume it'd work great.
Keep up the great work, can't wait to see what you do next 😊
