Very nice job. I can't believe the way some people beat on those tightening arms. If they need that much jaw pressure they probably need a bigger vise.
DANG! It looks like the previous owner needed a bigger vice! Yes,needed a vice to fix my vice. This my 4th vice restoration video today. I guess that I'm hooked.
Looks like soviet vise. "Тисочки настольные ТУ 2-17-302-81" (Bench vise Technical conditions (ТУ) 2-17-302-81 is the name of this vise, i think. I've got very similar one.
Should have welded on the handle collar so it's not so floppy. Although, I suppose that small diameter rod will act as a shear pin and will prevent anyone bending up the handle by over tightening in the future.
Nice green color. You left out a lot of details in the video. Vise turned out nice, but what's up with the hole in the middle of the anvil surface? Thanks for your effort with the video
You can use white vinegar with sodium bicarbote solution. Inmerse the metal for 2 to 3 days in the solution and will be clean. No need of electricity. There is a videa on that system. Look for VINEGAR...
I often see these videos and wonder why many of the restorers choose not to use a primer before putting on a color coat. I always watched my dad prime parts that were going to later receive paint. Just curious.
Nice job using only basic hand tool. Very well done. I salute you, sir.
To disfigure the screw lever in such a way, someone really hated this small vice. It’s good that the vice got your good hands.
Well done job.
you did a wonderful job on it i would recommend using a washer or circlip as a thrust bearing to tighten up the backlash from the handle
Super tare 👍👍👍👍💡
You removed old wounds and ... left new ones :( I only give you four stars!
Nice tear down and clean up. Beautiful restoration.
That came out really nice. Thank you for saving it
NICE JOB !

Ache kosis ki hay
Total Thumbs Up ! Beautiful piece of work !
Fantastic just fantastic stay safe and make
you need some soft vice jaws so you don't destroy every thing you put in it

Great work on the "baby"!

Hi bro 👋👋👋very good restoration mini vise 👍👍👍
Looks like soviet vise. "Тисочки настольные ТУ 2-17-302-81" (Bench vise Technical conditions (ТУ) 2-17-302-81 is the name of this vise, i think. I've got very similar one.
👏👏👏👍👍👍
Nice little video. I could use one like that. Looks really great. Nice work! 👍
Very good !!!!
C O O L !!!

Восстановил такие же тисочки, кому интересно ua-cam.com/video/80aLYR2x-LQ/v-deo.html

You did a great job!
What a nastily made vice that is...
Lovely vice, nice job.
A vice holding a vice. Imagine that.... haha
Great job

Seen so many of these "restoration" videos and they rarely if ever use primer.
Next time make a restoration of your drill ; ) Nice Job.
What chemicals and ratios did you use in the solution to dissolve the rust?

No grease? Is it just me or did I see no grease or oil on this whole restoration. Can't forget that! Besides that you did a good job
Should've used a split pin instead of a bolt for guide pin - stronger and smoother
Get a glass bead blaster no more crappy mess and waiting for results .
Ohh Man!
Good
You should have replaced those t handles. They have been weakened by bending them they will bend again
I could really use that at work or at home. Want to sell it?
That is the smallest vise I’ve ever seen!

What was the liquid? What was the powder?
У

Is this famous russian technical culture XD!
Nice repair but wouldn't call it a restoration.

How much i want it lol
Great restore. Excellent process. But, uh... 4 commercials? Didn't know you had become so... capitalist?
That is NOT how to use a file.
Восстановил такие же тисочки, кому интересно, same type of vise restoration ua-cam.com/video/80aLYR2x-LQ/v-deo.html

Your file work needs to be a little bit better.
Very sloppy work.
