Alaska auctioneer after ✈️to Missouria Auction School 1996 before that as a boy in Midland , Texas listening to the old Lucky Strike tobacco auctioneer advertising on AM radio so o sent off for the Missouria Auction School correspondence course on thick records until I wore the grooves out on those old 45 records . When I got back to Alaska I started calling auctions in Fairbanks, Alaska and became quite successful and in demand selling everything amaginable like refrigerators to Eskimos lol. I’m a born again Christian and want to give God the glory for what he did in saving me and making this old drunk a new creature in Christ . After 20 years living in the bush of Alaska trapping by dog team I moved back to my native home of Van, Texas as a licensed auctioneer for many years here my happiest times are helping children learn to bid call and your videos are very appreciated . Good Morning. I am doing my first ever auction for a charity event tonight. The auctioneer cancelled on Tuesday so I 1:18 received the distress call on Wednesday. I am a good public speaker but I have zero experience with auctions. The first practice session was fantastic training. Barry

I am 61 years old I first did an auction with my grandpa when I was 4 and did it with him until I was 8 and moved away. I didn't actually call anymore until my late49s and only here and there although I worked many auctions and would practice. Last year i decided I wanted to call on a regular basis. I just stumbled upon this my father called for 40 years in the Pacific NW. I was able to call 25 years ago but lost it this is a great refresher since my dad passed 8 yrs ago I haven't ran a chant with anyone. This is great thank you.

I was an auctioneer for the Government for 9 years and even taught an auctioneer school to new hires. I’ve been retired for 6 years and have been asked to do a big auction in November. These video series have been great practice to knock the rust off and get me ready for my auction. These videos are fantastic for new auctioneers or to keep us older auctioneers in practice.
I’m sitting here with a lung infection and I ended up in a UA-cam rabbit hole of learning how to talk like an auctioneer, this might sound weird but it’s actually helped me clear my lungs and breathe properly again, I don’t plan on becoming a pro auctioneer or anything but I thought it might be fun to play around with when I’m on the mic at events, this is probably going to lead to me auctioning off whatever we have turned in at the lost and found during raves but it should be fun. Pointless hilarious fun, thanks for posting these videos they have kept me busy all day and breathing well :)

So, a few years ago at a local area Chamber of Commerce function they were holding a silent auction. I thought to myself, let's do it live. I approached the Chamber President and asked if I could hold a live auction on the items. She asked me if I have ever done something like this before and I said no. She aske if I could do it and I said yes. Everything went great and I had a blast. My wife couldnot believe it. No other auctions since then. Then the other day I got a call from the Chamber President asked if I wanted to do it agin. He rembered me from the last time. So, I pondered the question and said what the hell. So tonight the 20th of October going to be a guest auctioneer. I came accross your videos and started practicing this week. I will be using what I have learned from your videos, Thanks and wish me luck. Take care and give care!!

Now, after two minor strokes, I know I can never realize my dream. However, I am using your drills to try to improve my speech impediment caused by my first stroke. My grandma was an auctioneer for many years and she was really good. I have fond memories of going to her auctions in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Hi Blake. I am not an auctioneer but I want to teach myself how to chant. I recently attended the livestock auction at fair and decided I wanted to dive in and give it a try. My grandma was an auctioneer for many years and she was really good. I have fond memories of going to her auctions in Council Bluffs, Iowa. I hope to become somewhat good at chants and maybe this time next year I could run the fundraiser auction at the kids’ school. Thanks for the videos. They are very helpful.
My name is Wild Bill Pollanger I always loved auctions and at the age of 14 I was cashier for @ friend of my dads that did a sat night outdoor auction people would being in stuff and I would keep a sheet of who’s stuff it was and the items sold and for how much, take off the 10% auction fee and cash out the rest, I loved it. I am now 71 and want to get back ,I sing the auctioneer pretty good so.. lol we shall see. I liked your style and going to subscribe. Thanks Wild Bill

I'm an aspiring auctioneer out of Tucson, AZ. I grew up in Indiana/Ohio and loved going to auctions. I'm very good at tongue twisters and rapping fast verses of songs so I figured id give this a shot. I discovered I have a natural talent for this, and I'm excited to see what I can do with it once I get out of the military.

I auctioneered last year for the year "Senior Serve" pastry auction for Project Graduation. I roughly practiced and was able to garner more money than ever before for this event. Hey Blake. I’ve been an auctioneer in VA/WV for around 3 years now and I appreciate your videos. Imo the business is ever changing as well as a good auctioneers chant should be. Hearing other auctioneers methods and chants have helped me more than anything. I look forward to future vids.
