I would bid just once at the last seconds, and then the absolute maximum amount im ready to pay. Even if thats much higher than the actual bid...you still are going to pay just the price that comes up on top of the bidding, but maximum what you have entered.
So I won a bid right, but this is weird..... prior to the win I had bid and someone outbid me within a second, that was weird right? Someone placed an Auto Max Bid. So for Example...they Bid on something $5. They also set up an Auto Max Bid of $20 and can be away from their Computer. Just bid 10 dollars more then the current bid at 10 seconds left, so the people that bid a dollar doesn't effect your bid
So more or less last 3 seconds to bid. But if the highest bid is $63, how much more should you bid up?
Yea I made the mistake and got into a bidding war with someone. Didn’t jack up the price too badly but I’m not touching it til the last day . I never used eBay before so I had no idea how it worked. So hopefully the other bidder thinks I’m out and I can come in the last 10 seconds and bid and win .
Ive dobe this many times but sometimes 2 1/2 seconds someone else could have bit HIGHER and beat you to it since their bit was there FIRST.
Thanks bro
Now I can ruin every inflatable collectors idea on rare stuff
1min45sec until you finally gave the first tip...
You rock dude
What happens if I bid 4 days early? Do I still have a winning chance? It says “you’re the high bidder” is that a good thing?
Legend.
Is the eBay mobile app a good place to bid?
Hey man thanks for the advice I copied you and its works!!! Awesome!! Boom!
Legend. Just got a $130 keyboard for $38. Glorious Gmmk 2 96%
MORE EBAY VIDS!!!
I’m watching this as 5 minutes are going down for my bid.
I tried to put in a bid in the last 4 seconds of an auction, and it wouldn't let me even put in the numbers!! I can't get ahold of anyone to find out why that was happening
'
Pray for me, 58 people are watching the auction 💀
I'm currently waiting on a bid but I still have 9 hours left to go lol but 0 bidders is this fishy...? He has a 100% positive feedback
great thanks!
Awesome...more video
i always bid seconds after it ends and i get it for less money
I bid must of the time 1 second to go and maybe a lost 2 or 3 due to bad signal. But 98%of the time. I have scored great items. Also I have done it when it just 0 time left and I’ve won. This is the truth
How much % should I go over the current highest bid? It was at 42 dollars, the highest bid winning the auction was 46 dollars.
@@hydreigon2709 You ALWAYS enter the max you're personally willing to spend. That way if you lose it's at a price you weren't willing to pay anyways and there's no regret. 99% of the time I snipe I pay far less than my max bid.
@@PabloGonzalez-hv3td what should I do if someone has automatic bid thing set up and I bid multiple times but I still got outbid?
Someone always bids $1 over me at the end 😟
Max bidding killed bidding at the last seconds.
But how much do you bid? Your whole budget? Because you don't know what the highest bid of the person before you was.
I would bid just once at the last seconds, and then the absolute maximum amount im ready to pay. Even if thats much higher than the actual bid...you still are going to pay just the price that comes up on top of the bidding, but maximum what you have entered.
Technically yes. You bid the absolute max you're willing to pay but in the final seconds.
hoping to win an auction that's ending in 3 Ish hours fingers crossed.
So this was 4 years ago is this still legit advice or have they changed something so its not valid anymore?
i am really good at bidding
“Starting a series”
*only had two videos on channel*
So I won a bid right, but this is weird..... prior to the win I had bid and someone outbid me within a second, that was weird right? So I wait and offer a 5 dollar higher bid when its 3 seconds left and the the item sold for what the last bid was which was 5 dollars cheaper. What the heck happened there? I was bidding on my phone too.
Someone placed an Auto Max Bid. So for Example...they Bid on something $5. They also set up an Auto Max Bid of $20 and can be away from their Computer. So when you bid over their $5 with $7, it automatically beats your $7 with $8 and so forth until you find out their Max is $20 and beat that. Thing he forgot to mention in this video is if you wait until last 4 seconds or 2.5 seconds, someone can have a Max Bid and you can still lose. So wait the last 4 seconds but be willing to jump $15 more than the bid just in case.
EVERY bid on Ebay is technically an auto max bid. The actual bid is determined by the 2nd lowest bid + the increment for the price range.
the dislikes are the people who still lost
We should wait when bid is ended?
I keep getting beaten to a bid by 1sec by people who have never bid on said item. ? Are they using a computer program.???
automatic bid where they bid super high so until the bid passes the amount it will just do it for them
Some dude always outbidding me by a buck on these products from one seller. Is there some way people can see what your coming bid is without confirming? I'm literally doing when there's a second or two left or Maybe I'm just super unlucky
Use automatic bidding and put the absolute maximum you're willing to pay, you won't pay the full amount but you'll pay a small margin over whatever other bidders are willing to pay
Let's say you auto bid at a $201 max
Someone bids at $150, you'll pay something like $151
If that person auto bids at $250 they'll pay something like $202
@@yalendael can you give an suggestions of an automatic bitting software or webpage to follow your advice
@@jeffreyshow2666 nowadays you don't need one anymore, eBay does it for you
Just bid the maximum you're willing to pay and eBay will try to make you just enough to outbid the others
Do have a channel or a video suggestion where I can see your point. I don't see eBay helping.. they instead want to extend the auction and in that extention make you waste your bid attemp. How to setit up on ebay.. like you said it's what kill like to know
No. Their max bid is just higher than yours so the autobid system automatically outbids you by the bid increment. In this case $1.00.
Thank you very much I won!!!
New to buying on eBay but why does sometimes you bid and hit confirm but then you’re outbid instantly and the price goes up? Can anyone tell me
I believe it’s because someone’s placed a bid higher than your most recent bid. I think their current max bid will remain hidden until you outbid them
I can't fucking believe it. I actually won HAHAHHA wtf?! Thank you for sharing your sage wisdom to those who seek it :))))))
I really hope this works! :)
Did it work ?
User CBF1, did it work??
I WON THANK YOU
It's so stupid that this works. The clock should reset to 5 minutes every time there is a new bid placed within 5 minutes of the end.
The true question is ... “DO YOU TRUST YOUR WIFI SPEED ENOUGH” ? 😆
Right 😂😂😂
Idk wtf happened, I bid in the last 10 seconds and I was the highest bidder to the end where it said it ended and 0s remained. But then it would turn to 2 min remaining, so I refreshed it and then it said ended again and that I was the highest bidder. And some mf still managed to beat me somehow when it said ended. Is this some sort fucking scam?
Just used this to win my bid thanks haha
lol, i'm now watching this video so I can snag 8gb of corsair vengeance ram sticks just like you
no way, 3000mhz all the way
Answer: Be the highest bidder.
Got 10 minutes left and I’m hoping I win this Xbox headset
I’ve been pissed. Past 2 I wait till the last couple seconds and nope it was outbid in a split second. I saw the one guys comment and imma try that way next time
That's because someone put in a higher maximum bid than you. Their maximum bid doesnt show, the price just goes up in intervals until someone else bids against someone elses maximum bid.
all you have to do is bid 1 million dollars in the last minute and you will win. the automatic bidding system will lower the amount you pay to just 1 dollar above the last bidder's highest bid. works everytime.
How does "max bid" play into this?
Ebay is proxy bidding and can bid for you. Your entered max bid isn't necessarily the current bid even if it's winning.
I THINK I WILL TELL DADDY HIS MATE
hey say hi to your brother Paul Dano, tell him I love acting alot...
there's this toy car I wanted I was gonna do this but litteraly the last friggin day the car got sold
How else would an auction work?
@@PabloGonzalez-hv3td this is basically the only way to actually win
Looking bc there is only 10 mins hope it works
So frustrated because someone out bidded me on the last 10 seconds
I’m bidding for an iPhone 11 so I hope this worksss
Did you get it?
@@Thanos-tg6hl no😔

HOMIE I JUST WON AN XBOX AT 31 BUCKS!!! At 2 seconds submitted, and dude, if any price you're gonna round to a five, bump it up by a dollar.... I finessed this other and I'm pretty sure he's pissed, I took a pic and I'm happy to send it to an email for anyone to see it, or you RGB goodness just so you know I'm not bull-ing. Like and sub. So stoked.
I love boots, these 800 dollar boots for a crazy price. I will use this method.
Isn't everyone doing the same thing?
