Could you please elaborate a bit more on how the one hundred series of numbers are fillers? If an item is being bid at 100 dollars, 100 becomes the amount I am looking for. I'm not an auctioneer but I'm practicing because I will be doing is soon and I wanted to develop a basic chant. Thanks for helping me understand this.
I went to an auction where the auctioneer's cadence was so fast that I couldn't understand what he was saying. Since I couldn't understand what was happening, I didn't bid. A couple of items that I wanted went for much less than I was willing to pay. I finally left out of frustration. Is there something to be said about slowing down just a bit - especially for rookies who aren't used to going to auctions. Maybe towards the end when the bidding has slowed down.
By the time I get to the third level of fast, it becomes too fast. I forget the numbers of what I'm got what I'm asking. On the segment of anybody wanna give. Maybe i'm just trying to focus on speed and forgetting the The number clarity to be more important

haha I understand what you are saying. Im not pointing at the words on screen, I'm just practicing pointing at bidders while I'm practicing. Using your hands helps to keep track of where you are and where the money stands.
This teacher is modeling good hand gestures while doing the chant. He pairs the two so we can see, not only how it should sound, but how it may look also. Great teachers often do this without thinking. That’s one reason we learn so much from auction syndicate ❤️

Good stuff. Question? You you mix up in any one chant the different filler words like " I'd bet 100 dollar now 200 would you give 300...?
