- Zane Burns, a fifth generation auctioneer, provides a brief overview of the history of auctioneering while interacting with the audience detailing personal bid style, the rigors of auctioneering school, and the mechanics required. Zane Burns born and raised with the values of Montana was born to be an Auctioneer. At the age of 16 he attended the Western College of Auctioneering. As a family owned Business the auction block called his name at an early age of six. Working side by side as his parents trained him for an inviting song like auction cry Zane performs his passion to help benefit the community by raising money with his enthusiastic humorous personality. Most British auctioneers sound nothing like his impression of them. Americans think a fast chant is the most important bit of being an auctioneers. I'd say it isn't. It's knowing the vale of what you are selling and your skills in being able to communicate with vendors and purchasers.
