install the vsphere 7.x.x is not recomended instal to USB/SD cards. be aware of this, i have very bad experience also with ISDM module (SD card module) with firmware 1.15 now the dell rolled back from update catalog because firmware 1.15 has some bugs, recomended ISDM module firmware for SD cards is 1.13 :)
Hi! Thank you and yeah it’s recommended to use some high quality SD cards but the newer versions of 7.03d are now having issues with SD cards, even when the ISDM does it’s virtual overlay to hide the SD card and keep it as a virtual disk but now the new version of esxi is not as happy anymore as prior versions. 😊
@@Virtualbytes1 Yeah, 7.02c works fine with SD cards but definitely need to use SSDs or real hard disk.
