In this video, we will show you how to install VMware ESXi 7.0.3 on your Dell PowerEdge R730. First, you will need to install a VMware ESXi 7.0.3 ISO file. You can find a download link at the bottom of this description section. We will create a boot disk utilizing a program called rufus. We will put the .ISO file onto this USB boot disk. Then we will put into our R730 and boot up the system. Hit F11 and go to the Boot Manager and select "One-shot BIOS boot menu." This will take about 5 to 10 minutes and you will boot to VMware ESXi Installer. We will show the rest of the steps in the video. Click that like and smash that subscribe!

4:38 It doesn't find any devices (except the iso USB drive) even though I have 3 600GB drives installed. Do I need to do something to initialize these disks somewhere else?

I'm trying to install esxi 7.0.3 on intel 5600 series (r710 caught for 120€ all configured with 64 gb 1600 2x X5670 and 2x160 sff 10k, also iDRAC enterprise but its only for rendering so...) just for fun and it said me cpu unsupported error
I discovered how to install it: on boot screen when its loading press shift+O (O is a letter not zero) and add as boot parameters alllowLegacyCPU=true and it will boot up fine.
Also with 2x quad ports 1Gb nics wich i will put one in a dl385 g6 (its for my friend editor) that already has and also tranfer the quadro m4000 on the new server with proper riser for x16 slot
