Another great review. I’m near the end of scenario two now. I’m looking forward to beginning the final scenario with all my transferred save data. It’s such a shame Sega didn’t release the entire trilogy outside of Japan or making a shining force game for the Dreamcast .

Loved the whole experience of the 3 parts. It was the first rpg I played through on the Saturn and it was worth every minute. My favorite for challenge was probably part 1, but part 2 was so creative with the different kind of battle. 3 had a lot of highlights, but some I found the lack of variety in battle music a little irritating, and it was my least favorite team barring a few oddities and central characters. Overall though, the ending was fantastic, especially the last battle. I just wish the challenge scaled with your experience because I felt a little too overpowered by the end of scenario 3.
I played scenario 1 back in '98-'99 . Wasnt able to beat the final battle. Downloaded fan translations about 10 years ago and have been playing in waves. Im almost through the final scenario.
Such a perfect way to end the trilogy. The story and the way it's laid out is absolutely phenomenal. The impression that the game has had on me still lasts.
It's a great RPG, even if it does have less story than the previous two.
I felt like there actually a lot going on in scenario 3. The team coming together, the side stories like the snow witch. The class promotion. good stuff.@@gameshack1985

First and Second are the best two I believe - storywise at least!
How is this in English? I thought it was only released in Japan.
There are translated versions available a variety of ways now.
I can't hear a word you're saying. the audio is way too soft compared to the Music and Sound effects.
