I'm wondering what's the height measure at the highest point now with the lift and tires? Thinking of something similar, and worried about clearance for parking garages etc.
I don’t think it’ll be an issue. I have 35’s and a 4 inch lift in my Ram and have never not been able to fit in anything like a car wash or parking garage. With that being said there’s maybe 2 inches of clearance in some places. Which is super sketchy. Lol

Hi there we want to know what offset you have on your wheel been looking for that wheel and can’t seem to find right fitment.
I purchased a +12 offset but rubbed my brake caliber and that wheel don’t come in a 0 offset. So is it a -12?

Better than nose low. At least it's not squatted lol
@@austin42891 but when you raise the front you lower the rear, the rear bumper is now about 2 inches lower since he installed that kit so you might gain front clearance but you lose rear end clearance
@DrewzieDoozie no you do not. If there was some sort of fulcrum in the center of the vehicle for it to pivot on, then yeah, maybe, but that's not how suspension works. The 1.75 inches added to the front was not enough of a difference to compress the rear that much or at all for that matter
@@austin42891 the Trail Boss from the factory has a 1 and quarter inch rake so when you install that kit the front will be a 1/2 inch higher than the rear, I don't like that look I like some rake maybe a half inch of rake atleast there needs to be a 1 inch leveling kit that way you eliminate most of the rake but keep some and don't put the cv axles at such an extreme angle
Did you recalibrate the speedo or notice any issues with the transmission shifting differently after going up to 35" tires? I have the new 2022 Silverado 3.0 duramax in just a Z71 trim. I have not found anyone that makes a tool to recalibrate the tire size on the trucks with the new interior yet. I had a Tundra that I went to 35" tires on and didn't notice any issues besides speedo being off a little but I don't want to mess up a brand new truck either.
Rough country sells a Speedo calibrator, not sure if it’s for the 2022 model yet, personally I’d buy a pedal programmer that would do what that does and more
There is device called a Pulsar, it plugs into the wiring harness and allows you to adjust for tire size etc. It's supposed to adjust the speed, mpg readout, etc..
@@ariesmusicangel This is a 2022 refresh. There is nothing on the aftermarket to recalibrate or change any settings. No one has been able to crack the ECU yet
I have a stock 2022 trail boss LT and I fit 35’s with ease. No adjustments needed. I have 35x11.5 Falken RT
what about you fuel mileage went up a lot ?
I just bought a trail boss. Just thought the same thing. I'm going to be throwing 35s on soon! Not worried about lifting it more

Was any cutting involved to prevent rubbing?
Very minor trimming on the front of the wheel well fabric liner

No, most likely you will have to level the front to fit these full 35" tires. You may be able to fit a 295 70 18 though which is about 34.5". I have them on my zr2. May only work with same size/offset as stock wheels though.
@@theredone.. I have 305/70 18 on my ZR@ with no lift. slight rub on full lock to the right.
But you do know if anything happens to tranny or motor GM will void your warranty! They are bad about that!

I have a 2020 trailboss that I had level with a kit. I have Nitto Ridge grapplers 33x12.5, and there's no rubbing. Question: Do your 35s rub

@laces out readyleft leveling kit, if you're going to level yours, make sure the kit you use comes with an upper control arm. Yes, I replaced the wheels 20x10 grids with a negative 12 offset

What size wheels
I would like the bds version of this lift. Upgraded rears to adjustables also. It’s about $4500 9/26/23. 1.5” Bora wheel spacers on stock 18” wheels and 35x12.5 falken wildpeaks. Helps I got the 6.2l v8 so I don’t need to mod that out too much. CAI, Borla pipes, some reputable tune and I’m betting she’d scoot.
what has your MPG done with the lift and tires?
Did you have to cut to fit those tires?
How far is your speedometer off and how well has the transmission reacted to the 35s?
70 MPH on the speedo is actual 73 MPH vehicle speed.

What lights do you have under the headlights and what grill and front bumper is on their. Looks mad clean.
Those lights are stock depending on the year and trim of your trail boss i have the 2019 custom trail boss so i dont get them but the 2019 LT trail boss does
Is there paint chipping problem on the hood around the black hood piece?
I have the same truck in the navy blue, no chipping
I have the same truck in black and mine is chipping. Also right behind the rear doors on the bed
@@austin42891 I wonder if GM would cover it? Seems to be a problem for a lot of Silverados. My work truck is a 2005 Chevy (white) and it started chipping at around 100k miles to this day it’s pretty bad rust spots all over the roof but still running great, it’s got 300k miles both transmission and engine are the originals.

Yes, you can fit four of them in the bed
What about rubbing? Did you do any modifications?
We did some minor trimming on the front of the felt fender liner with this particular wheel/tire combo and it worked just fine.
