I’m so happy you’re getting the opportunity to travel solo! Travelling solo was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. I went backpacking after a break up in college for what I had planned was two months, and seven years later I am living in England married to a man I met in Prague. Solo travel makes you grow, challenge yourself, and learn more about who you truly are through the moments of being alone. I am so happy for you, and I can’t wait to keep supporting your travel vlogs. So so much love for you, embrace the chaos and live to the fullest.
So glad that you enjoyed Southern Maine. I moved back to Maine a few years ago after living in San Diego for a decade while I served in the Navy. Winters are tough but Maine is always home. ❤️

That's such a great idea of collecting art pieces wherever you go! We have a few different collections from our travels. Me and my mum collect postcards, and frame them as mini art pieces. Not just the stereotypical postcard, but unique ones made by local artists.

I started following you after I saw your divorce video. To be honest, I'm not really sure why, as we don't have much in common. I've never been married and I'm an atheist who enjoys drinking on the weekends (lol) but I just really love your content. I find it very comforting and I admire your vulnerability and strength during a difficult time. I also really appreciate that while you can tell Christianity is a very important part of your life, it never feels like something you're pushing or forcing on your viewers. Kennebunkport is my home town. Glad you enjoyed your time here. If you’d looked to the ocean while at Portland Head you would have seen another lighthouse. Across the bridge, in South Portland you could have visited Bug Lighthouse and Springpoint Lighthouse. A little further to Cape Elizabeth and you would have made it to Two Lights state park, which has two more lighthouses. Next trip. 😊

Solo travel to europe changed my life. Many of my best memories are from this experience. I learned I am stronger than I thought. Now being married and pregnant I will treasure that time. I am glad you are living this stage of life to the max and taking advantage.

As a native of Boston/New England, it's always fun to see someone's first visit there. Watch them learn to pronounce things...and just get a feel for the place. Kudos to you that you did this trip. From your other vlogs...I see lots of changes since, and mostly good. Love that! Feel free to come back to New England soon....you didn't even come close to all the cool stuff to do. New Hampshire and Vermont....Connecticut and Rhode Island, and all the cool places in Massachusetts. Oh yeah, this Native from New England? Been in Texas most of the past 25+ years...but it's always good to go home, and watch others visit there too!

When everyone that i know is looking to book holidays to sunny beaches, i do google searches about secret little towns and differents spots that nobody knows of. And when i get there i get excited about every house, fence, tree, street, rock, shop, anything! Everything impresses me. This was fun to watch! I live in a coastal town in Maine equidistant between Kennebunk and Portland. First, it's adorable to hear you pronounce Portsmouth phonetically. For future reference, it's "portsmuth." There was an AT&T store much closer to you than a trip back to New Hampshire; the one in my town was just 20 minutes away. It's fun to see places I am so familiar with (Nubble Lighthouse in York, Portland Headlight at Fort Williams, Two Lights State Park, Pemaquid Point, Dock Square in Kennebunkport, and the Old Port in Portland) through someone else's eyes. You really reminded me how fortunate I am to live in this beautiful state which I can take for granted at times - usually in winter, while chipping ice off my windshield. Here's to many more solo adventures! Thank you for sharing.

I spent a year in Maine, traveling Monday through Thursday, with a prior employer and fell in love with Maine. My happy place. I love Pemaquid and stayed at a B&B near the lighthouse. Woke up before sunrise every morning I was there, walked to the lighthouse and watched the sunrise. Breathtaking. Thank you for the memories of Maine and taking me along.

I grew up in Florida, live in Seattle, and lighthouses are everything. They're one of my favorite things in the world because I can't live off the water. It totally makes sense that you would look for lighthouses. They're magic. Also, you got such awesome art! Please keep doing these travel vlogs, they're so good!

I’ll be 47 in June, and while I have always dreamt about solo traveling, I’ve never done so (driving to/from East Texas to Austin or Galveston to visit my sisters does not count!).
