The annoying flashing of the TAP button can be switched off. How to turn off the blinking of the TAB key. You press the button with the house until you get the setting Tab Light On / Off, then go to off and the annoying blinking is off.
Man we need someone to also make a great tutorial on creating tones for different styles. Honestly just played around with the edit and had a decent tone for what i wanted! Everyone else just thinks to use the app...which you dont need to do but the editing part can be a little confusing. Love the amp so far.
My questions are long will this last?? I owned the previous version (3 amps to be exact) of this product and NOW they are DISCONTIUED... the footboard still works I on the new ones I guess, and how done I transfer, download or input the presets I already have????
I have the V30, it's a good amp, but 128 memory locations are way too many. Maybe, because I have to like an AMP in terms of design and not just in terms of sound. And since the front panel, from the V60 onwards, could have improved a lot, such as a larger display and one or the other rotary control, or the USB to the front, etc. I think the equipment for the large front panel is the equipment too little. But that is "whining" at a high level. Nevertheless, it would certainly do the optics good if the front panel were more equipped.

Would be nice if a video was done for the entry level Spider V 20 model - a newbie needs more help than is available on any of the videos I have watched so far. And from looking at the reviews - there are no replies to any question. Not very good service IMO

How many (if any) empty slots are available for custom or downloaded presets? Also, in the example, you modified and saved an existing preset? Does that override and replace the original or retain the original and separately save the modified version?

Jeff H Whenever you save a preset, it is saved on the bracket where you're editing in the first place..

Probably the guy that holds the instructions defected from China and nobody knows where he is so I’m saying this video is as good as it gets ! I’m more confused now than I was before
@@robjohnson6747 yeah I ended up returning it after 2 days. Looking at all the parameters that everything had was just way to much. In my opinion just to create one preset would take about a month. And the funnest part is when you download the manual from line6 for this amp, they don't even explain even the basics of what everything can do inside of it. Here I am expecting a manual that's going to be easily 200 pages and I think the manual is around 7 pages. My rating for this amp 2.5 out of 10.
Man these are godawful compared to the previous series. I use one every week and it is so muddy it needs it's own eq. I have a 6w gorilla amp circa 1982 that is cleaner. Sorry but imo these are complete failure.
Question for Spider V 120 users: Is there a straightforward way to simply return to the original factory presets if I messed with some stuff and just want to go back to where I started? I inadvertently obliterated the 1D acoustic sound and I want it back. Thanks.
If I were you I'd got to a GC or something with a laptop and cable connect it into another amp get a backup save of that amp and import it into your amp or just call support for the file
you can factory reset it by holding the knob and scrolling all the way to the bottom- just select factory reset and yes. now i just have to figure out how to go back to the firmware in this video, because 2.02 sounds way worse haha
Nothing more than garbage from Line 6 & Yamaha broken hardware unfinished and untested software & hardware. Don't but into the sales gimmick the company attempts to sell its virtually useless. Do yourself a favor keep walking if you see one in guitar center dont look back save yourself the pain and hassle. Not being bias speaking coming im from I'm speaking from a owner and someome who has experience om these amp model's.
that is completely all false. as is true with any amp on earth, it all boils down to user error. this amp actually has incredibly nice presets, which can then be further dialed to sound epic.
After watching this video i have a strong belief that piloting enderprise would be much more easier than learn how to use this amp.

It's 6 years later and I still can't find any.
To change some basic settings and to see what version of firmware you have , hold down the Home button until the menu comes on. Press again to exit.

Just hook your amp to a computer. It comes with built in recording software.

On the spider v mkii 30 there are 4 user slots for your own custom presets

this amp is totally crap. spyder 4 75 watts was a beast beside this shame
