Just to forewarn everyone, this is 20min you’ll never get back of your life.
Your comments time I’ll never get back in my life
I agree this video sucked so stupid
Usles material
You're a saint
Couldn’t agree more! Worthless video.
A year and a half ago I sold my dodge and bought a 2011 6.7 ford best decision I ever made. I beat on it every time I drive it and it never lets me down. drives great tons of power 358k miles and it drives like a new truck.
Why not a power stroke photo then lol
You bought the truck with over 300k then possibly? How much did you pay?
@@BannedSports payed 11k in 2018 selling it for 16k after putting a trans and a a lot of engine mods into it had it for 30k miles.
@@hoosqt7447 because most power strokes are garbage. I’ve owned 3 Cummins always been good motors just nonstop issues with the truck surrounding the motor.
@@djcurtis8677 that’s true engine good but the transmission….
The 6.7 is great, some get luckier with stock turbos some crap out in no time, my dads 12 has 230k and I’m surprised the turbo hasn’t gone but it is perfect! Nice truck man!
I agree with your dad! Ford's all the way!
DODGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have the same truck and hate it lol
@@ILoveNicotine92 Yessir. Ram is the king of trucks.
DODGE!!!!!!!!
@@Beall_ thats the funniest thing I’ve read in my lifetime
I’m looking at a 2011 6.7 f250 with 225 k miles is that to many and what should I look for when o go take a look at it
Tons of trucks with the 6.7 powerstroke have surpassed 1 million miles. Best diesel by far not even close. You never hear anyone complain about a 6.7
I'm looking at buying a F750 from auction. they have like 8 of them. nearly all of them have blowby and im talking trucks with 24k to 60k miles on them. is this just something that 6.7's do?
So true. I love my 2015 power stroke best investment I ever made and I own it no payments the biggest issue it had was injection pump took a shit at around 75k but it was under warranty still thank god now 155k and goin stronger than ever
@@jakethesk8roberts763 ya until cp4 pump blows up and takes out the fuel system
@@avathompson6711 did you not read my reply my cp4 took a shit I had it repaired at 75k
@@avathompson6711 replaced
Love the Videos with your Dad! And Love the connection you guys have Good Stuff Right there!!! I daily a 03 Cummins QC Short Bed but have driven several Ford work trucks from F250 thru the F700 and everyone is tough as nails!
Your dads the man! Keep up the good work fellas
I actually just finished installing my badlands 2500 winch on my rancher 420 30 minutes ago. Weird how the world works. Anyway I used the KFI winch bracket because the badlands bracket is crap. Use the kfi bracket it mounts right up.
How often is he servicing the oil
Amd other fluids? Does he run fuel additive? Fuel filters?
Early 6.7 were known for the turbo issues they got it fixed on the newer models
like what year?
@@VIP854 2015 is when Ford put in a different turbo
Your talking about. 2015 model years? Come now. This engine has been bullet proof since introduction here in the united states.
I have a 2016 F250 now and the turbo went out at 96K
Should have 4 mount points to the frame of the atv then 4 bolt holes on the mounting plate to mount the winch to. Then your fair lead will mount to the front for the cable to run through.
Has he had any leaks from the vacuum pump in front of the radiator fan? I had a small oil leak from the pump. Come to find out two out of four bolts were loose. I can move them with my hand. Apparently it’s a known problem on the 6.7
I believe that was an issue at one point
Guy has a good disposition make sure you pay attention to that man he seems to have alot to teach you
I have a 2016 and have been thinking about a tailgate net because of the hard to open tailgate. Thanks for the fix.
Much respect and appreciation bud keep up the awesome work and video’s 😎😎😎😎😎😎
If you're here for the Title 15:11 you're welcome
What size lift? Literally picking up that color combo KR tomorrow! Love it
Any issues with the cp4?
I like the old school trucks dodge and ford . But I've had gd look with 6.7 powerstrokes . There good running trucks like the engines . Your dad's truck is pretty sweet. You guys should do a 6.7 powerstroke build !!!!
Anytime I have a programmer on a truck I can't keep it off the highest setting ,😆
My dad has a 2nd gen that color and my brother had one as well. I also have had a 2nd gen Dakota with the color.
Make sure you take time to hang out with your dad, he can be gone at any time. Miss my pops RIP dad
Finally I'm early for something I'll prolly be late to my own funeral but not today
🤣🤣
I have a global 2013 Ford Ranger PX1 and the clear coat peeled as well. Granted, the truck was always parked outside under the inclement tropical sun. I painted the truck and now I keep it in a closed garage. My truck has been awesome too. It has the 3.2 I5 diesel found in the Transit vans. Very awesome engines. Truck has had its fair number of issues but the majority were minimal go medium annoyances. The big one was the mechatronics unit going out after 6 years and low mileage. Its a common issue on those years and I think its a common 6R80 transmission issue. Even with all its issues, there is just something about Ford trucks that I like over the other trucks, and Id pick one over the most reliable Toyota.
If you ever want a cool giveaway rig get a 7.3 Excursion! Would be sweet to see one on the channel
I’m a Cummins guy myself but your dads truck in that year particularly is a badass truck, in fact my dad had a truck the same age and it was a pretty good truck. Now he has a 2017 F350 and it tows like a dream with that powerstroke engine.
Came here to learn about the 6.7 but i learned more about burn barrels instead.
#NotificationsSquad #TeamLNP Oh I’m a dodge guy but I love your dads king ranch power stroke mainly from that year to older power strokes. You’re dad should get him self a B&W hitch for his bumper 👍🏼
Gen Y
My uncle had a 2nd gen 1500 that was that beautiful red color back in the day. It was a really nice truck with factory leather
I have a 2014 f350 srw platnuim was a great truck until motor messed upped rocker arm fell off pushrods on cylinder 2 and causing lifter to eat camshaft engine had 273k gonna get new engine from ford but every 150k or 200k replace rockers arms would be also recommended
All the ford aluminum bodies have issues with the paint chipping. It doesnt bond to the aluminum well.
Hahah y’all are Hilarious love your dad
Love y’all energy and that 6.7
Yo Malcom....when u putting more wheels and tires on Rosine?
Tomorrow actually 🙃 shhhhh
Malcom 😆
I’m mostly a dodge guy, but I do like fords. I have to say Ford did do a great job with the 6.7 in my opinion
Flame red 2nd gens are fairly common, my dads dually is a flame red sport model and my 2500 is intense blue pearlcoat and they look great together
Isn't that the same red that was on the Ram in the movie Twister starring Bill Paxton?
The 2016 is the best year hands down.
What about the cp4 on his
I have an oiler like that I use mines all read though. It’s mac
Got a 2018 f250 with 240,000 miles. Would like to show a review on your channel
I found a 12 valve cummm 1998 / 191,000 miles for 5,000 healthy engine but rusted frame should I purchase it ?
If you don't mind sourcing a solid one and swapping it out, go for it
@@alandillon6469 is a swap expensive I feeel like it is
Anything for the Cummins
@@hazzurs Well that would be the point, saving a awesome truck from the crusher!
Depends on what you get a frame for of course. But it is labor intensive and would need a lift(I personally wouldn't without). So you have to out weight the cost and effort, also consider the condition of the rest of the truck... 191k is not many miles for a '98! Many positives there, so good luck with your decision man🤘🇺🇸
@@alandillon6469 thank you so much for your time , and I’m gonna use it for construction so I definitely gonna have to look for a new body soon
9 mins in and your just getting to the topic seems like the channel hasn't grown at all in the last year or 3
My 01 1500 4x4 off-road edition is flame red
My tailgate did the same thing lol and my cab lights easy fix just some bulb grease and wd40 fixed it all 💪🏽 built Ford tough
Love the King Ranch
Power stroke rock
Imagine not knowing what an oiler is lol
Seen a truck familiar to Rosine in Pittsburgh 3500.00
15:01 👌🏻
So is he gonna talk about the powerstroke or a fourwheeler and a clapped out 2nd gen?
My 2012 has 290k miles with the 6.7 powerstroke
Come on man! This is the 3rd video of yours I have tried to watch and 8 minutes in before you even get to the videos title content.
8years? NOT BAD AT ALL
Love my 6.7 ford
I have a F-350 2015 6.7 Lariat with 230,000 still is a beast.
thats a lot of miles, still at 75k on mine, but zero issues. truck has been amazing
Joel is such a cool fella
The early models of that generation truck had some turbo problems. It’s been fixed by ford now.
That should be the next giveaway
Powerstroke is my heart
Yes sir a couple little things for 7 year old. FORD 100%
Skip to 15:00 mark for anything relevant to the video title.
Your dad is right, Ford for the win
I heard "dodge channel" I'm out lol nice 6.7 powerstroke I'm a 6.0 guy myself but their nice
Get to the truck!!!!!!
what the hell did that have to do with a 6.7 powerstroke!!!?
So.....basically pretty bullet-proof?.
Ford all day everyday
Well the 6.7 can cost over 58k brand new and when I went to the shop to get a spark plug for my truck ,,every diesel there was a 6.7 power stroke and they all had from 20k to 60 k miles on them ,and 3 out of the 7 there needed a engine rebuild,,lmao I guess that shows how reliable them piles of sh** are,,never buy one don’t get stranded .
If you do buy one do your self a favor and don’t spend 15 grand on it and keep it stock
5+ minutes into the video and still nothing mentioned about the 6.7.
Pulled with it everyday 15,000 pounds
For the winch - try a KFI mount. They make a lot of them for Honda’s roughly $40. I used them for my rancher
Man that sounds raspy
Anyone here for the actual 6.7 Powerstroke content skip to minute 15. Everything else is nonsense.
Just put some nuts on the ends of the linkages and they won't pull through anymore...bam..problem solved
😂😂😂
Change the battery in that smoke detector
What lol
When you guys for fixing the tail gate could hear a smoke detector beeping needs a battery
Always knew it 6.7 suck
What’s the saying
6 in a row ready to tow.
8 in a v ready to pee.
Two rows of 4 means you can tow more
First!
This could've been a 5 minute video man, come on.
Fords are thumbs down no matter what
Dude when are you going to talk about what you posted the video about? I mean I’ve watched half the video and you hadn’t even started talking about the 6.7 just a bunch of other non sense
First 8 mins of your video is pointless. Thumbs down
No one cares get to the point
