Jeff Hanneman was so great! Slayer just wasn't quite the same after he died. Break it all Mia.
I agree, still supported them all the way to their retirement in 2019, hell even got to see them live in 2016 but they weren't the same after 2013 when Jeff passed away
I have to agree after Jeff hanneman died it never really was the same but Gary Holt was a very good replacement I mean as good as it's going to get and I saw a Slayer six times with Gary Holt in the last 6 years and I have to say I wasn't put off with it and even as good as he is it still wasn't Jeff hanneman
Jeff Hanneman was everything. One of the greatest metal guitarists and lyricists. The "gentleman" who wrote Angel of Death. R.I.P.

I was lucky enough to see SLAYER live in concert 16 times. I remember seeing them on their REIGNING BLOOD tour back in 87. I grew up with SLAYER and they are my all time favorite thrash band ever. I'm 48 yes old and this brings me back to my youth 🤘🤘

Was my first concert! Slayer with Alice In Chains, Anthrax and Megadeth! What a memory! My shoe came untied during Slayer! Not a good thing! When you get pushed 10 feet to the side in seconds or a mosh pit breaks out! Lol! I’m still here though! Was awesome! Love the video!

I saw slayer at the felt forum in the late 80’s. Wow! I think I was 17 at the time. It was madness and yes it made us want to throw chairs and drive fast and angry. It was a great time to be a teenager. No social media but I have to admit it’s great to watch the younger generation react to these classic slayer songs. SLAYER!!!

I remember reading an article where supposedly Rick Rubin (producer) told Slayer to just go crazy at the end until it all starts to fall apart. A true metal classic.

Slayer is the master 🙌 of a band there guitar solos and drums bass 🔊 vocals are on fire 🔥 i can play Slayer on the guitar south of heaven and that is a difficult harmony to play with such fast riffs

This is an amazing release for Slayer and was an amazing year for metal. 1986 also had Metallica (Master Of Puppets), Anthrax (Among The Living), Megadeth (Peace Sells But Who's Buying), Queensryche (Rage For Order), to name a few. Anyway, the drumming on this Slayer release is incredible and Dave Lombardo is still at it currently with Mr. Bungle.
Dave is still playing with Suicidal Tendencies. I saw them a few years ago with Dave on drums and it was unreal!!!! Dave rocks!!!!
