    Thank you for the videos! I got the rotimatic a few weeks ago, it's really awesome. We make our flour out of whole grain and after some time rotimatic even managed that.
    The shipping to Germany also was no issue. Making vegan pizza and wraps with it is so good. Unfortunately you had no referral link back then, you definitely helped to make the choice. Maybe I can mention that to rotimatic somehow. Thanks for the advice, will try the gluten free rotis! 😀

      It is a pleasure to hear that my videos were helpful to you. Rotimatic did not have any referral program until a couple of weeks ago so I couldn't help my audience with any discount earlier. Anyways, I am glad to know that you are enjoying your Rotimatic.

    Thank you so much for such informative videos. I used to mix flours in rotimatic and my machine stopped working. I am not sure if it is due to mix of other atta’s or just reached end after 3 years. Just curious, is your rotimatic still functioning well after all your experiments?

    • @RupenderKaur
      @RupenderKaur  Рік тому

      Thanks. I am glad you liked the video. My Rotimatic is working fine after 4 years of use and lots of experiments. I was a bit scared of the kneading parts breaking down due to different flour mixes. I could hear the parts struggle at times. But thankfully, nothing broke :). I did see however that with the all the experiments, I had to clean the flour tunnel and the flour container more frequently as some flours tend to absorb moisture and clog the tunnel. What exactly is the problem with your machine? Try contacting Rotimatic via the App. They always get back pretty quickly.

      I love all byour videos. I have been doing most of the things just like your videos, except bread machine. I am seriously considering it.
      I already ordered a new rotimatic. It just heated up but did not even start making rotis. I found that others who has this issue also had to get a new one.

    Hi, thanks for sharing these useful recipes. Can jowar rotis be made the same way?

    • @RupenderKaur
      @RupenderKaur  Рік тому

      Hi Natasha, you can try Jowar rotis using the recipe I shared for Bajra rotis in my other video - ua-cam.com/video/wLWIFphRsdY/v-deo.html
      I have tried Jowar rotis using that recipe but for me the rotis turned out a but crumbly. Try using the Golden flaxseed meal which is much lighter in colour. I am experimenting more before posting a video for jowar rotis.

    Thank you for showing the rotimatic , how many rotis can you make at one time

    • @RupenderKaur
      @RupenderKaur  Рік тому

      Upto 20 rotis can be made in one cycle. You can start a new cycle as soon as the first cycle is finished without any warm up or waiting time if you wish to make more rotis. I have made upto 50 rotis for a party and it worked without any issues.

    Is it good choice for restaurants?

    • @RupenderKaur
      @RupenderKaur  Рік тому

      Honestly, I am not sure. There is a warm up time of 7 minutes. Roti size is much smaller compared to the size generally served in restaurants. It might work if you plan to make rotis in bulk in one go for a buffet etc. but switching on the machine to make rotis per order might not be optimal. Most likely the besan and flaxseed meal are clumping up in the flour tunnel and therefore the right amount of flour mix is not being dispensed. This happens due to the moisture and heat in the machine. You may try with store bought flaxseed meal instead of grinding at home. I had better results from the store bought one as the one at home tends to release oil in the grinding process. Also try to sieve besan to prevent clumping.

    Can we also make makai roti in Rotimatic?

    • @RupenderKaur
      @RupenderKaur  8 місяців тому

      I haven't tried it, but you would have to add a binder to hold the flour together. Flaxseed works well but is not recommended for regular over-consumption especially in women.

    my daughter has to eat gluten free food. I am using rice flour & makai flour.. But it breaks while rolling. Do i add xanthan gum or what else ? Does gluten free oats flour break while rolling ?

    • @RupenderKaur
      @RupenderKaur  Рік тому +1

      Hi Komal, I can totally relate as my son was allergic to wheat a while ago. The rotis did not break while rolling for me as flaxseed meal acts as a binder. Store bought golden flaxseed meal works the best. You can even try Bajra rotis with flaxseed meal - ua-cam.com/video/wLWIFphRsdY/v-deo.html. In case you don't want to use flaxseed (some kids might be allergic to it) you could try to use Potato flour or psyllium husk as a binder. Do check with your Pediatrician first about giving Psyllium husk based food to your kids on a regular basis. I wouldn't recommend using Xanthum Gum as it is synthetic. If you are making these rotis manually, there are other ways like soaking the flour in hot boiling water for a while before kneading the dough.

    My son is highly allergic to common food items including wheat and flaxseed. What can I use instead of flaxseed ?

    • @RupenderKaur
      @RupenderKaur  Рік тому

      I am yet to explore other ways to make millet rotis in Rotimatic without flaxseeds. But if you are making these rotis manually, you need to soak the millet flour in boiling hot water for a few minutes. I have not tried this personally but saw some other videos in which they do this with literally any gluten free flour. Adding enough rice flour could be an option too but I am yet to try that.

    I tried your recipe but unfortunately, mine are too runny and they are not binding in to dough ball at all. Any tips or suggestions? I made almost five before giving up 😓

    • @RupenderKaur
      @RupenderKaur  10 місяців тому

      All the ingredients need to be really finely ground. It works for me the best with store bought Oats flour and Flaxmeal. Try to increase the quantity of flaxmeal to bind better. Flaxmeal should not be oily but dry else it will clump up in the flour tunnel. A word of caution with Flaxmeal - a lot of women a sensitive to consumption in high amounts. I have added a note about this in the Description as well.

    • @RupenderKaur
      @RupenderKaur  Рік тому

      I am sorry to hear that. Using hot water (50 - 60°C) is important. Also all the ingredients must be finely powdered and not coarse. It may take several trials for the machine to learn. The parts need to be cleaned properly after every trial. You can try reducing the amount of chickpea flour if it still doesn't work.

      Oh, I am sorry to hear that. I tried it several times before posting the recipe and it worked for me each time. Are you using really finely ground Flaxseeds and Oats? I bought Flaxmeal as I couldn't grind Flaxseeds so well at home. Also hot water is important.

      It must have been frustrating. If you are based in Germany, I can share the exact brands of ingredients that I used. Else you could reduce the amount of besan and try again if you want. Some brands of besan are a coarser than the others so this could be a reason.
