Tried this tonight and it turned out amazing! Didn't look like it was going to, but we were very happy with it, having looked for a true 100% oat bread and most not turning out good. Thank you!
I baked bread after watching your recipe. I used my homemade yeast, wholewheat flour and oat flour which I made in my food chopper. The result? It was absolutely wonderful. Bod shukriya dost for this awesome recipe! Best regards from Canada.
Looks great...would be even greater if you can do a "close up" shot at the end when cutting, break apart that one piece and show the close-up texture would be a perfect ending to your perfect bread. Thank you.
I have lots of oat flour so I have decided to go with this recipe. I have used grams instead of cups and the dough was just too runny. I have added more flour of each and it came out great, thanks!
Thank you for your perfect video I made it yesterday just after seeing it It came out so so nice, far better than normal breads The only part missing was the amount of yeast
Vineet sirjeeeee... Food close-ups chaiye!!!! Badhiya cheezein banate ho 👍 pleeeeeeeeeaaaaasssssse ek cameraman lekar aao jo aapki mehnat ko saakaar kare close-ups shots lekar 😉😘 love you always 🤗🥰
Thank you sir for the recipe. It would be great if you could answer some clarifying questions as well. 1. How much quantity of yeast was added? 2. What is the purpose of water wash in the end? 3. When we add salt in the yeast, wouldn't that interfere with the leavening of the yeast?
Yeast as per recipe 12g- I have added 2.4tsps Water wash/ brushing with milk will make the crust crispier Even I doubt in adding salt to yeast, so have added while making dough rather while activating yeast (just added sugar, yeast n water)
It's a myth that salt would interfere with fermentation, but it does not. With such a little quantity it wouldn't make any difference, ask any Italian pizza chef, they'd confirm the same.
Thanks for a great recipe. First, never use Iodized salt in bread, iodine can interfere with yeast, use Sea Salt instead. Keep salt with the dry ingredients. Then the yeasts will have a chance to see diluted salt. 😅
Can you provide an estimate of your kneading time. I followed all the measurements using my scale. however the bread was crumbly. So I'm thinking that I didn't knead long enough. I also followed your your instructions. Please advice.
Sorry, bought some oat flour, didn't grind it from steel cut oats, same measurement? Also, it would be nice to see the dough from an overhead shot? Thanks!
The one I make was good for about 5 days but the fifth was not as soft as the first days, I just store at room temperature, maybe if you put it in the fridge would last longer
Can we not use 1 cup of whole wheat flour, 1 cup of almond flour, 1/3 cup of coconut flour, 1 cup of arrow root flour, 2 tbl spoon of yeast, 2 tbl spoon of maple syrup,
Wonderful video. Next time please use a transparent bowl or pan the camera from the top to see what you are doing - mixing - making the dough. You were hiding the most important step in this recipe.
This is a really good video but when I followed the steps exactly it didn't turn out the same. Maybe because I live in a cold climate. I had to let it rise for 8 hours and it also was way too sticky to knead so I had to use maybe a half cup more of flour.
It has to have gluten to interact with the yeast. I'm sure there are gluten-free oat bread recipes, but they are complicated. Try using einkorn instead of hybridized wheat.
UPDATE: pls revamp your title. this is NOT oat flour bread bc its NOT the only flour used. its bread WITH oat flour shd b your title, as pple think theyre going to see how to make bread with ONLY oat type flour in it, when in fact regular flour is used along WITH oat flour. clickbait...
What's the point of calling it oatmeat bread if it has wheat flour in it? Some of us are celiac patients... We cannot handle gluten. That's the exact reason why we search for bread with substitute.🙄

If you do not want to use any wheat flour, what flours would you use to substitute.?
sorghum, tapioca, potato flour or starches. an even mix of these. plus a double dose of yeast/sugar.
I have lots of oat flour so I have decided to go with this recipe. I have used grams instead of cups and the dough was just too runny. I have added more flour of each and it came out great, thanks!

Thank you sir for the recipe. It would be great if you could answer some clarifying questions as well.

Chef....u r unique
Can' t wait to try. By plain flour you mean, AP flour. thanks! Just subscribed!
Yes, at 2:17, he did say "all purpose" flour. He said pretty quick so you may have to turn on "cc" to see the written caption across your screen.
Chef thanks for this healthy and simple bread recipe but aapne quantity mention nahi kari hain
Please mention the quantity of wheat flour, oats in grams & quantity of yeast in teaspoons as well
Can you provide an estimate of your kneading time. I followed all the measurements using my scale. however the bread was crumbly. So I'm thinking that I didn't knead long enough. I also followed your your instructions. Please advice.
Ek is ook lief vir brood
This is the best damn recipe I've ever seen. Thank you so much mate.
What can you substitute plain four coz I'm gluten intolerant.
Can I use raw whole oats to blend in blender for this recipe?
How much yeast did you use for that quantity of flour?
Can you do this with one cup of gluten free flour? I want to keep it gluten free.
Trying to omit flour what would be a healthier alternative for the flour ? Or can i just use straight oat flour?
Thank you so much chef
Sorry, bought some oat flour, didn't grind it from steel cut oats, same measurement? Also, it would be nice to see the dough from an overhead shot? Thanks!
Could I make this dough without the added plain flour?
You are so unique 😊💗
Hi chef, must I use all purpose flour?
Hi. Can I use rye flour instead of plain flour?
Chef instead I use whole wheat flour can I add more water
It looks like you used more than 1 tsp. of salt? Thanks

Can I use bread flour instead of regular flour
I need to know what you mean by flour please, i tried the recipe and the only flour i used is the oat one

Can we use buckwheat flour instead to plain flour
🙏🏻🌹🙏🏻
Instead of 1 cup oat flour can i use 2 cups of oatflour omit the all purpose flour?
I see many other online recipes don't knead at all. Whyyyy don't they or why to knead
Why is the blender jar so small compared to the base?
What if i use a gluten free flour
Didn't look like it rose enough.. is it soft, or a bit on the denser side.
Plz sir upload some more healthy and fatfree dishes
Can I use only oats flour? I have diabetes
Can I use gluten free flour?
hello chef! what's the shelf life of this bread?
The one I make was good for about 5 days but the fifth was not as soft as the first days, I just store at room temperature, maybe if you put it in the fridge would last longer
Can we not use 1 cup of whole wheat flour, 1 cup of almond flour, 1/3 cup of coconut flour, 1 cup of arrow root flour, 2 tbl spoon of yeast, 2 tbl spoon of maple syrup,
He added plain flour. What is the point?
Sorry, I didn`t understand - what do you mean by "plain flour"?
All purpose flour
What is your actual recipe?
Im not sure you put enough salt in it.
Wonderful video. Next time please use a transparent bowl or pan the camera from the top to see what you are doing - mixing - making the dough. You were hiding the most important step in this recipe.
Is it warm water?
He said room temperature.
This is a really good video but when I followed the steps exactly it didn't turn out the same. Maybe because I live in a cold climate. I had to let it rise for 8 hours and it also was way too sticky to knead so I had to use maybe a half cup more of flour.
Same here.
Wheat flour and title says oat flour ?!!!!

No matter how hard I try my dough won’t rise I don’t know what I’m doing wrong?
Ur yeast is not activated or the yeast is expired thats why
Nice beard dude!
This is not gluten free, can you make it without wheat flour
I think I used too much flour and not enough yeast, I made lump. No bread, just lump.
I thought there was shaving cream on your face 😂
UPDATE: pls revamp your title. this is NOT oat flour bread bc its NOT the only flour used. its bread WITH oat flour shd b your title, as pple think theyre going to see how to make bread with ONLY oat type flour in it, when in fact regular flour is used along WITH oat flour. clickbait...
U did not give the kneading time and did not show how well the dough had risen..
Watch Martha Stewart and she'll teach you about bread making, kneading is a learned technique. It's not that difficult.
I am fed up with recipes that say oat bread and the ingredients comprises of 50% maida.
Beats the whole purpose.
pathetic that it's so hard to get oatmeal flower, I guess they don't want people to eat healthy
No point in asking this guy questions,he doesn't answer any of them
The camera should focus inside the bowl. Not your face.
Allergic to wheat flour
Einkorn
