This is a great quick dish on its own like a chilla which can be had for breakfast or dinner! although I wouldn't have it as an alternative to roti as the texture is not that great the inside remains wet due to the stickiness of the oats. Anyways its a good quick recipe thanks for sharing!
Yes I had a similar experience no matter how long you keep it on the pan to dehydrate the texture is not that great while eating as we get from a normal dry kneaded tortilla/roti
The inside will always be wet and sticky with this method. I tried all sorts of variations on this batter method. She probably doesn't tear the roti open in the video for the same reason.
Thank you sooooo much. It’s delicious and so easy. My husband enjoyed it😋
Thank you for your lovely comment!! I am so glad to know that your husband liked it 😊👍

You might need to keep it longer time in low flame

No that’s not true. Try it. You can see. My family loves this roti all the time. ❤️❤️
I followed the recipe precisely. The batter was very thin and did not cook through. It did not look like the batter in the video.☹️
Hmmm, if it's uncooked in the middle, then it's not worth the effort??? Maybe, low heat, slow cooking?
maybe a touch of baking powder or a beaten egg for more protein?
