Oh they have that in an Asian store here in Colorado, and I bought to make it one day. Very true about it being easy to make, as it was a first time for me to make. So glad this is available here since I miss local style cone sushi. Mahalo nui loa for posting such great vids! Makes me miss local food lol
I like to mix cooked rice with chopped benishoga/gari, or those kombu wormy seasonings before packing into the inari shells. I usually get the dried inari shells and boil it with seasonings since I don't like using a lot of sugar/sweetness.
Thanks to you and your mother for today's video! I love inarizushi so much!!! It is so delicious. I don't think the Asian markets near me carry the aburaage packages like that, but they look so handy. I'm sure homemade is always better, but that is very helpful if you are in a hurry or want an easier cooking day. I send best wishes to you, Niki, and to your dear mom and your family. Thinking of you!
Thank mama for demonstration. It been awhile since I ate sushi rice pouch. Going to go to Asian market and tried making inari. Mix in with dried crumbled seaweed.
I love love sushi gohan! I also love inari! I’m adding your okasama’s recipe to my Osechi Ryori table, beginning next year! Arigatou! ♥️ Watching your mama wrap the gohan reminds me of my mama. She taught me to wrap and freeze my gohan too. ☺️ Thank you for this video! I saved it to my favorites! ((Hugs))!
we use Tamaki rice. I think it's medium grain? When you make rice, make sure you fill with water up to the first line of your finger. i hope that makes sense?
I think that if Bryan accidentally turned off the freezer and good food had to be thrown out, that you're even now insofar as you accidentally blocking the toilet!!! What do ya think sis? 😁🤣👍🏽
Mom has her groove back! Thanks for cooking lesson.
Mama is good sushi maker. I always tear a few up. So nice and neat.
We used to call these "little brown bag sushi" when we were kids.
Glad mama is cooking again.

What kind of rice is that that sticks together so well? My rice is always dry.

Thank you. I will try it. Looks delicious.
Grandma makes that look sooo easy to do. I always over fill the cone sushi, when I "try" to make them. Those tofu skins are SO darn deceiving in size.
I only cook 3 cups at a time. We use ziploc bags. Lol.

I agree! yes..
