I’m still enjoying your videos Tommy! I almost bought an F80 M3 and started watching your vids when I was considering that purchase..but I ended up getting an M550i…. Did you figure out how to attach a thru-axle fork to the rack and retain the locking functionality? I saw some quick release to thru-axle adapters on Amazon, but the thru axle is not lockable with those.

I guess you did not get the instructions with yours? The gray tool has the hook for pulling the gasket up and the gasket should be tucked into the upright.

Gaskets are rubber what you are pulling up are the levers. The gaskets if not set back close to the levers make the car louder.

You are Tony the baller? I have been doing this since 993 days. So you know the rubber cover should be placed on the other side of the bike rack so the whistle sound goes away. You can also use ski snowboard racks.

Other than the roof fixing, exactly the same bars as BMW! Same fixing for the bike rack and even come with the same ‘torque’ tool!

Porsche rack provides lower center of gravity and the bike is more snug so the video guy good with it.
