Been a subscriber to your channel for a few years now and I have to say that the content and the level of the footage is astonishing! Also it seems that we share the same taste on cars and that's awesome! Keep up the good work Luke and I really hope these videos get more appreciation, great job mate! You and Sam from STG are real youtube gems in the car world.
Had to stop 35" into the video. The intro is spectacular! Everything, from the initial shots to the car details to the music. Awesome. Time to go back to the video.
GT4-MR Alignment is also a good setup. PDK is a great choice. My 6 speed GT4 had trouble downshifting from 3rd to 2nd on track yesterday, almost caused me an accident. Your PTS color is just as cool as my Miami blue. Keep the GT4 content coming please, love it!
Thanks! And yeah I can imagine, I was thinking to get some parts from MR. Interesting to hear about your manual experience, so far I heard many complain about it as I have, just seems not to work as they had hoped on this car. Miami blue I love also 👌🏻
@@carswithluke the problem with manual GT4 is the running cost. The clutch and lightweight flywheels are extremely pricy. PDK lifetime no replacement. Manual in traffic is a nightmare and you have to constantly worried about the clutch wear. I only use mine on the track so I got the manual. Ppl who buys a manual thinking it’s okay to daily or even semi-daily r absolutely nuts. I enjoy my manual on track a lot because Is very easy to approach the corners with the long gearing ratio, I don’t have to think much. Ngl, It also makes me look really good with the auto down shift. I don’t see a manual GT4-RS would make any kinda sense in the world and yet some people are begging for it. Manual tran in that big hp engine with short gearing ratio is not gonna be easy to approach. Frankly I think it’s bad.
Happy to have a little transport company (3 vans) that take the rollcages from the manufacturer to a panting comapany and then back somewere near Stuttgart. And they all are for Porsche GT4.
I love how much in LOVE with the GT4 you are, really nice to see you satisfied and it comes over and i am now totally going to go for a nice drive and enjoy my own baby today.
If he can get an allocation. I’m sure he’ll feature it in a video or two but actually being able to purchase one would be far more difficult and expensive.
That would be epic indeed! My view is this, yes for sure I want one and it would be my next goal but….first of all it’s at least 50k more (base spec) than a fully specced gt4 if I was to order one which is a lot of money. 2nd, they are all sold out and have been clearly told no chance for a slot, 3rd, if any come on the Swiss market this year then the garages will be asking for stupid money way above what it’s actually worth like normal. So currently my goal would be to get one for next year once there are several for sale and the prices equalise, hopefully find a used one that I will eventfully upgrade to. Lastly I already know I will have one many times to film this year so right now I’m happy just to film it and not have the costs of living with one, for now.
You’re absolutely right it does sound better than your white gt4. It has that Porsche-esque sound like the old school air cooled sound sort of. I love it.
Very beautiful car and it's cool that you are making it your own by tastefully modifying it. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the higher wing other than that it's perfect, but at the end of the day it's your car and you can do whatever you want with it.
Thanks! I always felt the rear looks off with a low wing, there is such a thing as too high for sure but the 3 inches make all the difference, as they say..
I looove your sunglasses and I've always wondered what they're called. Please I would be soo happy to know what they're called! As always great video of course haha
Beautiful car. Try tiny amounts of raw bee pollen for your hay-fever. In 6-12 months you can desensitise your allergy drastically. Mine went away completely. (Raw bee pollen, the frozen one and not the one kept ambient). Good work!
Hi Luke, you express clearly how the mods transform the driving experience. What a car, and I love the colour! Cool shades also - do you mind saying what they are? Quality vids, mountain passes coming - yes please.
I'm building a channel and community of those like you and I. I really appreciate you sharing your passion for modifying even at this level. I can't imagine not modifying both for personalization and performance. I'm currently building a KTM 890 R naked bike, refreshing my N54 powered BMW, and just got a B58 daily! It is great to see the enthusiasm you have for modification and for automotive beauty, your channel has certainly been an inspiration. Also congratulations on the new Porsche, I loved your walkthrough of the color choice in your previous video.
Love the new mods, the car looks sow mutch better with a slight lowering, and I trust you when you say it drives alot better. Can't wait to see what you do next Luke.
Your modifications are functional, and happen to look quite smooth. The black themed wheels as juxtaposition to the body color with chassis lowering are tight. Often modifications improve driving or looks, in this case I am happy to hear and see they have vastly improved the driving experience and looks. Well done.
