Hi Gail! Thank you for watching 😊
Adorable.. I have some snowmen that my Grandmother made for me over 30 years ago. I had to refurbish them some last year. I am going to make this pattern to add to the snowman family.. I love the way this yarn looks and I have some in my stash.. yeah!!!! thanks Jayda..
Thank you Jayda. You’re always like a burst of sunshine and energy. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us. Now I’m off to create my family of snowmen and snow gals. Lots of hugs to you.
Hi April! ooooh a Snow Family!! LOVE IT! Thank you for watching :)
As long as you are making fabulous crochet videos I’ll be watching 😊💕 Thanks again. Happy Crocheting.
Hi Jayda🙋♀️ I came home tonight and started doing turkeys and just found the snowmen! What a fun way to spend some time crocheting all of these cute, fun critters and just relax. Soon, snowmen all over the house! Thanks for the fun, spending time with all of us, and helping melt some of the season’s stress❣️☃️☃️☃️
Hi Connie! I agree! Crocheting definitely helps take the stress of the season down a notch (or 10!) Thank you for watching :)
I love the little fat snowman! Thank you for another easy to follow tutorial.
Hi Cindy! Thank you for watching 😊
I love this video. I've made several as gifts. Everybody loves them.
Hi Marjorie! Thank you for watching :)
Love this, 2 strands of super saver worked fine. Glad you said that. I made a striped slouchy hat for mine to match the scarf.

Hi Kati! Happy Holidays :) Thank you for watching!
Happy Holidays to you all... Merry Christmas for the whole family
these are so darn cute, I will have to make these for this Christmas, who don't love a snowman. xxxxx
This is brilliant, but also hilarious - I JUST decided I wanted to make a snowman yesterday (before I saw this had been uploaded) so I decided that your owl would be a great base for him. I made the owl body (with sparkly white chunky yarn) and just added a couple of rows at the end before decreasing and closing him up. I now HAVE to make this one too!. Like minds....and all that! Thank you Jayda for all that you do for us. Your joy is infectious! xx
Hi Kelly, like minds indeed! One can never have too many snowmen :)
Thank you for sharing your Snowman. Its just too cute. I'll be making some. My daughter decorates her home with Snowman I'm going to surprise her. I love yo see you crochet & you look so easy. Gotta love you

Thank you Wendy :) We hope you have fun making it!
I love your tutorials . You are so positive. I have only been crocheting for a year now I taught myself starting with a granny square. I havent mastered reading patterns yet. But I made your snowman for my daughter and she loves it I added a beanie hat and crocheted the buttons and eyes.I am working on another for me. Lol
Hi Carolyn, we're so glad you're enjoying our crochet tutorials! Thank you for watching :)
Oh Lord, I have a HUGE addiction to snowmen...lol I just might have to add this little fella to my collection! Thanks Jayda!
Number seven done and on to number eight. I love the little guy and I made a mom and pop size too by mistake when I didn't count rows. It all worked out just like you always say.
ohmygosh! A whole herd of Snowmen!
I just made a snowman using the Bernat Baby multi-color; blue, tan and white. It turned out great and I love it! Thanks!
That sounds adorable! :)
I fell in love with this cutie. Made 3 of the m today. I recently found your channel and working my way through all your videos. I love them all. Have recommended you to a friend that wants to learn to crochet. I find your videos the best out there.

Hi Eloise! Great idea!
Oh my gosh Jayda!!! I love this!!! I like how it's done in one piece. Thanks. I can't wait to make this cutie!!!!☃
Thank you so much for your video's, I have learned so much and you are a wonderful teacher. I just taught myself a last year and all of the video's I have watched you are the best. I look forward to seeing more. Thank you Nancy Hawkins
Hi Nancy, thank you for watching! :)
I love your videos! I've been crocheting for a long time, but I was self-taught and could only do straight lines back and forth with a triple crochet. I just found your videos last night and now I'm dying for tomorrow so I can go to the craft store and get some yarn and new hooks to make this snowman and that santa pillow! You explain things so well! Thank you!
Hi Tobie! Thank you so much for watching :)
He is awwwesome, fun and quick!!
I was actually working on something else while listening to your video. :) You have such a positive energy in you that I feel great only listening to your voice. The snowman is very cute, by the way!! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Magda, thank you for watching (and listening!) :)
Magda Diana I do the same thing when I work on my projects I always watch and listen her voice give me the energy to do it
I also do the same thing. Lol
Magda Diana sa
I just made this little snowman and it is adorable. I also made him a little beanie and it is absolutely the cutest. Thank you for sharing such a cute wonderful project. I will be having lots of snowmen in my house this year. :)
Hi Rose! I love the image of a bunch of little snowmen all keeping "toasty" in their beanies!
How did you make your beanie?☃️
@@laace2003 If you are asking me, I didn't know you were asking me or Jayda. I made them from a regular beanie pattern and stopped when they fit the snowman's head. I just mostly played it by ear and put a pom-pom on top.
Thank you for sharing your snowman pattern. Using that chunky yarn almost makes it look like bobble stitch. I love your tutorials :)☃🎄
It does! It looks so much like a snow ball :)
Where do you get your darn needle at I love how easy you use it
so cute! I just finished a smaller version as a tree ornament for our neighbors. thanks so much!
Thank you for watching :)

Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching Rita!
Brilliant tutorial! Another project I want to try!
I'm thinking of doing the Snowman the same as this but perhaps try a SnowMa'am by foregoing the belly buttons and adding a crochet bow on the head. Maybe red lips for lipstick and a mini shawl to replace the scarf? Your tutorials give me so much inspiration!
Go for it! Another cute idea!
so cute! thank you jayda
Love love love this snowman, made it yesterday to give to my friend , she loved it soo much! Thank you for sharing it with us, and all you teach us. I ,for one, would definitely not be as far along with learning new stitches, ideas you share, etc without you! Happy Holidays to you and your family!

Jayda I would like to know where you got your yarn needle from. I would also like to say you are a great teacher. You are so easy to follow. I haven't crocheted since the 4th grade and you make it easy to get up to speed. Thank you Jayda you are awesome.
Hi Dorsey! Thank you for watching :) We did a video a little while back that details where I got all my current (and favourite) tools! In particular the large, loop-eyed wool needle is by H.A. Kidd and I found mine at a discount store in the craft section, but I've seen them in many craft stores and on line too :)
Lovely.. 😉😄⛄⛄

Muito lindo, estou encantada com seu trabalho... Parabéns
Thank you for watching Norma!
Love this Jayda! So creative and the choice of yarn for the snowman is perfect.
Just a suggestion, I’m sure a lot of viewers are new to crochet and you might want to tell them that it’s helpful to add a stitch marker to keep track of their rows, or in case they lose track. Not sure if you did, but I notice you don’t use one so I thought I’d mention it. I’m not trying to criticize because I absolutely love your channel, just wanna help beginners.
hope you have a great day!
Hi Sande, thank you for sharing your tip with everyone! We have a helpful tutorial on that here, if anyone needs it: ua-cam.com/video/ws6vehJCCh4/v-deo.html

I made a snowman for xmas
Jayda, could you please make a Christmas tree hat for adults?! There is a lack of patterns and 0 videos. I think it's something you would be amazing at!!!
Thank you for the suggestion, Heather :)
I love watching your videos..do you have a santa stuffed plush..I made the snowman and tree. Lol..
Hi Deeann, thank you for watching! We have a cute Santa Pillow you might like, you can find that here: ua-cam.com/video/am3kfoxkbVQ/v-deo.html
Jayda, you mentioned not to stuff the body too much because we do want him to sit up. I've seen before where two circles have been made, sewn together with cardboard and even a old scratched up CD had been placed inside. would that work for this adorable snowman? he's by far the best one I've seen, and I believe he looks lonely, so in my house he will definitely need a family. thank you for sharing him!
Hi Karen, the nature of this yarn makes it rather pliable, so he sits fairly well on his own (so long as he's not overstuffed - you just flatten his bottom by hand) but it's also very thick, so small discs might not have much of an effect. If you want some extra weight in his bottom, you could try smooth, flat rocks :)
I didn't think of it that way. I've only used bernat baby once and that's the bulkiest yarn I've ever used before. I may try the rocks thou just because of the toddlers in the house. Lol! Thank you Jayda bunches!
I made mini ones for my tree last year but used sharpie pens for the eyes etc
Adorable! Great idea using the sharpie pen too, that ink is nice and permanent!
Leva Cearing never thought of that. made then cos our cats broke the ornaments and disnt want cut paws
JAYDA WHERE IS HIS TOPHAT??? Also very very cute and can’t wait to make it
* giggle * Thank you for watching Sydney!
So awesome👍 jayda can you do a video on how to count crochet rolls please :)
Hi Jenny, thank you for the suggestion!
Do you have any videos on how to make granny square slippers.I love your videos:)
Hi Elizabeth, thank you for the suggestion! :)
I just made your amazing snowman and i love him. I was just wondering if you could do a tutorial for a hat for him. Please please please
Thank you for the suggestion, Lisa :)
Yes, please! I've made 6 of them, for gifts... would love to add toboggans ;)
Great idea!⛄ Wishing you and Mr .Stitches a happy holiday.🎅🎁🎄🎉 Are you going to buy yarn in 2019?
Hi Danielle! OH YEAH! * giggle * I got some Christmas money to do just that :) Excited!! Happy New Year!
I kind of want to make these with thread and wear them on earrings haha
that would be challenging, but soooooooooooo cute!
Hi Jada, I was wondering if you could teach us the techniques on how to make our own crochet patterns...I think it is genius how you all come up with your own....
love your videos.
was wondering if you can do a tutorial on crochet Viking hat with beard?
Thank you for the suggestion :)
Awwwwwww
So cute, but how would I make a hat for him?
Can you please do a video on a crochet stocking ??!! Please
Hi Madalee, we have a tutorial on a classic granny square stocking and we have 4 super fun stocking patterns (all free!) on our website on the Pattern Workshop page - check them out! :) www.jaydainstitches.com
Can you make a Santa the same size to put together super cute I'm making it to put on my window
Thank you for the suggestion :)
How cute! Could you use one strand of yarn (hoping not to have to buy more yarn...I could open my own yarn store at this point LOL)... and just go down in hook size? :)
Hi Toni, I'd recommend 2 strands of the smaller yarn held together, this pattern was designed for the super bulky yarn :)
Hi jayda for your next video can you make those mini chibi people pleaseThank you
Hi Khadija, those pesky chibis just won't stand still long enough..!
Hello, did you happen to have a tutorial for that spongebob christmas stocking
Hi Maggie, we don't, but thank you for the suggestion :)
Please may I ask where you purchase your darning needle from . Thank you
Hi! that's called a wool needle and recently I've seen them (usually sold in sets of 3) at Walmart (in the yarn section) and if you can't find them there, we have a link on the SHOP page of our website (link in description box) to a few sets you can purchase on line :)
Can you show us how to make a top hat for him he looks like he needs one
Thank you for the suggestion Rebekah :)
what aboute hat????
Super cute. I'm definitely making some of these as gifts. I would also like to sell some..would you mind? I will, of course, if you total credit for this super pattern. It's awesome. What are those tapestry needles called with the "soft" eye? They are different from anything I have.
If you mean the needles with the metal eyes, I believe they are called wool needles.
Catherine Montalbano-Harris So a metal/plastic needle (she didn't have one today) is called a darning/yarn/tapestry needle but the one used today with the big plastic eye is called a wool needle.
Hi Catherine, thank you for asking, I appreciate it :) You are welcome to sell items you create using our patterns, we just ask that you provide a link to our YT page, website or Etsy shop (where the pattern originated) as a design credit. And Matthew and Miss Bee are both correct, the large-eyed needle I used in this video is called a Wool needle and mine are made by H.A. Kidd :)
Jayda InStitches hi and thanks for replying. I always have difficulty threading my needles and I think these will help solve that problem. I take so much pride in my work, as we all do, and especially in my finishing. It's challenging when you can't thread the needle lol.
soo cute I love it. Do u sell your work? If I was as good as u I would . my brother does graphics (stickers for cars and walls). He as also just bought a heat press recently. I love your channle so so so much... its almost as if I know u! xoxo
Hi Caitlin! I've been known to sell the odd thing :) I have a friend that does what your brother does! He's made some decals for race cars, I think the whole process is so cool!
Jayda InStitches I know but I barely watch my bro because we always argue over everything. I love your channel I've made that hat for Emily and wrapped it up
Brilliant, what colour did you choose? :)
Jayda InStitches I chose cream and can u email me at caitlinpalmer2007@gmail.com because I want to talk about some ideas I've got in mind for my channle
