For me it was just a grind like I would wait for him to go back to the shark almost immediately hit him get him twice and repeat

Instead of a battery, I just built a hydrant on top of a homing cart (those zonnai devices that automatically follow the enemies) the result is an autonomous cleaner of mud that also stuns the boss on its own. It is brilliant xD

No matter how hard I try, I cannot get through the second phase. I find all the muck to be too overwhelming and can't clean most of it up in time to then be able to attack the Mucktorok
Hey. Do you have any zonai water hydrants? Those things can really help in this battle. You could also fuse one to your shield and use that to clear the sludge. Thank you for watching.
Try attaching a hydrant to your weapon
I just jump over them because of the gravity
Try a keese eyeball on your arrows
That answered exactly what I needed to know about fast traveling out. I went into the fight with 14 arrows. Got him down to only 2-3 hits remaining but was stuck in the much trying to throw jellies and and splash fruit. I forgot to do an attack buff. Might be able to pull it off with 14 arrows with the buff... Thank you!
Triple attack up buff made it a breeze, also used the entry pillar to ascend and get the first round of (water) arrows off from above. Still have six arrows left!

I got through the 1st phase relatively easily, but am absolutely stuck on the 2nd. The Sidon power is ineffective and I'm burning through my splash fruit fast, and they're no much better.
I hadn't thought of the chu chu jelly so I'll try that and see it I can get a hydrant and hope it's enough.
This is the 1st temple in either game where I was so frustratingly stuck I had to look up a solution in this game or Botw.
Right after this comment I took one last try at the fight, used the chu chu jellies for water and won.

I took the floating zonai stone and attached 4 water pumps to it and 3 batteries . Made it stand somewhere near the inner circle . Lots of water and it was easier

what truly trivializes the boss fight is to build a zonai sprinkler system with multiple hydrants spinning on helicopter blades attached to a wheel. plant this in the middle of the arena, and no sludge survives for more than a second, not even on phase 2

For the 2nd phase, u can also shoot him with ice fruit and that slows him and grounds him so u can unload some melee strikes

I'm currently in this fight...The big problem is I don't have any arrows anymore and throwing the jelly won't do anything...
You could fast travel out of the dungeon to go get more arrows and a Zonai hydrant. Then fast travel back in again.
Update: I managed to beat it, and thanks to another video of the same channel, I managed to beat Queen Gibdo as well. Thank you!

Lol the bosses rematches in the depths are much harder since theres no low gravity. You cant trigger bullet time or jump over most of its attacks

I died so many times trying to kill the one in the depths. I finally built a homing cart with a stabilizer, construct head, and a hydrant. It worked to clear out muck and knocked him out of the shark form a fair amount of times. In the second phase, I used a spring to launch into the air to go into bullet time.

@@Megggazap i kept running out of splash fruit and was too lazy/stubborn to go get more. This was my solution using the stuff I had on hand.

This was where I gave up months ago. I couldn't farm chuchu, splash fruits or arrows, all of my weapons broke. The closest I got through my hundreds of attempts was 3/4.

Hey where should I get more zonai devices like hydrants?
@@Vanessa2775 I think there is a dispenser on your way up to the water temple that dispenses them.
If you look on your map at the dispensers it should show you what devices they gave to you.
Or if they have a "???" it means you need to go and put things into them to find out what they give out. ✅
what if I ran out of weapons?
I would fast travel out. Get more weapons and gear. Then fast travel back in again. Press X whilst your map is up to change from dungeon map to world map.
