In gerudo town there is an NPC that drops endless bottles into a hole in the floor hoping to find the one true love, what they don't know is that the pit is a dead end and does not exceed the boundaries of Gerudo town, you can get these bottles out quite easily and if you bring her one and talk to her she will actually make you her "mate" and cook for you every day
I haven't seen anyone talk about this and disccovered this on day 2 of the release
I thought this one was obvious? I have seen so many dumb sh*t by players up until this point 😅 like it took some players 50+ hours to realize yoy can fuse horns and stuff to ypur weapons, like HOWWWWW????????

It's like farming gibdo bones in the thunder temple I suppose obvious but missable 😅
Thing is you can literally fuse anything to weapons and shields alot of people don't realise that too I mean size really doesn't matter unless they are story relevant objects like crystals which you can still rebuild with autobuild (which also seems to be overlooked alot somehow like the abillity)
Since the bottles are not picked up/added to your inventory when you read them, I doubt this is something most people would think of trying.

There's actually a Yiga base inside the Shrine of Resurrection. Just look for a hole in the place.
Flowerblight Ganon is in this game as well, not just as a painting. She is the woman who took the farming tools from Riverside Stable.

Ah yes so many memories of BotW Temple of Time, like climbing it and leaving it.
I'm kinda disappointed they didn't keep the Slow Temple Of Time theme playing. Now its just the ruins theme that seems to play at the Sanadin Park Ruins.
The pictures on Link and Zelda's house are related to several missions around Hyrule. One of them is the flower woman who needs tools to finish her work, but there is also the yellow horse you need to find and others like these.

Scary fact: Gloom Hands & Phantom Ganon can spawn in the Depths under the Great Dark Skeleton Area. There was this weird glitch that made the Horroblins despawn in front of me and Gloom Hands appeared out of nowhere.
You can also use blue Chuchu jelly as splash fruit to get rid of the sludge in Zora’s Domain.

Being able to get your horses from BOTW isn’t a secret. It happens as soon as you try to register a horse. The only way you miss it is never trying to get a horse at all.

I’ve never ridden a horse in either game other than the horse quests. I just foot it, fly, paraglide or teleport to where I need to go

The Mask of Awakening -just like the entire set- is found in the surface, at the Tundra Plateau, not the depths.
3:40 - This Flower Ganon woman is in TotK too! Most of her flowers were destroyed in the upheaval but she is replanting them and just as sensitive about Link stepping on them in TotK as in BotW!

The upgraded Champions Tunic is a gift from Zelda. If you go to the old house you bought in BoTW, it's now Zelda's house. In the journal it will tell you about the chest.
Correction, it's Link and Zelda's house now. Apparently, she moved in with him

@@starfieldgames5976 everyone else also keeps mentioning that Link disappeared for some period of time. Between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, Link went missing.
You can get the awakening armour on the overworld, one being in the gleeok coliseum, another being on the hill near rito villiage with the flame gleeok, and lastly, and the thundera plateau will have the last one, but you need to connect a shadow to 2 pillars.
About references, I think part of the Gerudo Upheaval was inspierd by the Windwaker. In Windwaker(or at least the part that I know of), you have to put the pearls of the Golden Goddesses in their corresponding statues, and when you do so, a beam of light will strike the next one, creating a triangle(the Triforce), and in TOTK, you'll have to break some rocks to send a beam of light, striking the next pillar of light, to form a triangle, then using Riju's aura, you'll be able to activate the Lightning Temple. It's just something I have noticed.

You can use a stolen Stall horse to easily traverse the Depths, as they protect you from Gllom and dont dissapear like on the surface

16. The Mask of Awakening is NOT found in the depths, it is one of the Misko's Treasure quests, and is found on the Thundra plateau.
You can get it from the statues (forgot what they're called, but the ones that you can give poes to)

You don't fight Ganon in the sanctum(not called the throne room), you reach the sanctum and then the floor collapses and you fall into the observatory (I think that's what it's called) and you fight calamity Ganon there

I did not count, but about a third of this video could have been named: things that did not change since breath of the wild.
And while you were already at it you could have told the following on the topic of climbing: Jumping while your stamina is at its last bit (red instead of green bar) doubles your jump distance, eventually letting you reach higher grounds (though this would also have been something from the 'carried over from BotW' category)

Regarding the first one, the original Temple of Time was abandoned in BotW already, long before TotK put one in the sky
Additional fun fact: The one in the sky was the original, as the Great Sky Island used to be on the ground.

The Temple of Time on the Great Plateau was already abandoned in BotW. That's not really a new development. Plus there's a fair chance the Zonai Temple of Time might be even older than Hyrule's version.
It is. It existed long before the hyrule version because of story reasons that I won't spoil for those browsing the comments.

The Great Plateau one is the Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time, as confirmed in Creating a Champion. The Great Sky Island one is the one from the Zonai era. The Zonai one existed when Rauru founded the current kingdom. We only have to look at a certain people to know which comes first.
The Gerudo in OoT have round ears and yellow eyes. It's well documented that after this game, constant crossbreeding with Hylian men (due to the obvious rarity of Gerudo voe, and both being Humans) slowly turned their eyes green and their ears pointed over countless generations. Now look at the Gerudo warriors under Ganondorf's control in the Zonai era. They have green eyes and pointed ears. The kingdom that Rauru founded wasn't the *first* Hyrule, just another one, with the Zonai era taking place after all the other games.
Oh, and obviously Rito exist, who only came into being after The Wind Waker.
The Sidon thing isn't a secret. It's literally part of the main quest...

Other way around, I think the Temple of Time in the sky is supposed to be the first one, but the one on the Great Plateau is the one we’re all familiar with since Ocarina of Time.
This is correct, the implication is that the one in the sky was the original, especially as it's revealed the Great Sky Island used to be on the ground.

@@Sarge327 It's not a reboot, but it's almost certainly yet another new timeline. We already had three, it's not really surprising.
@@TempusVulpi When Zelda goes back in time and experiences past events, it's stated that she has appeared during the Imprisoning War. The Imprisoning War only takes place in 1 timeline, that being the Downfall Timeline. Confirming BotW and TotK take place at the end of the Downfall Timeline.
They do tell you about reseting ultrahand parts, on the screen when you have an ultrahand part held

When climbing, have you noticed how if you press jump at the very top as you’re about to run out of stamina, then Link will make one last lunge for the top - sometimes he makes it, and sometimes he … doesn’t. ^^;

Young Link doesn’t give you Lon Lon Ranch fabric, the adult OoT Link amiibo does that. The Young Link one gives you the Majora’s Mask fabric.
And the Mirror of Twilight fabric can be obtained from the TP Link amiibo as well as the TP Smash amiibo, not just the Wolf Link amiibo.
I’ve gotten the Lon Lon fabric from young link
There are two Young Link amiibo. The Smash Bros one, which gives you OoT items, and the Majora’s Mask one

Maybe. I know I didn't. And then, after randomly (Doing the goddess statue quest, looking for Farosh.) finding that blade stuck in the skull, a friend told me to try that geoglyph quest again. Turns out there's more than just koroks there. Who knew?

The ZL to reset the item with ultrahand is literally shown on the bottom of the screen with the other controls.
When you equip one of the amibo champions masks, the sage related to that power will get one also!

The Gerardo part- eventually a little girl will come out to “explore”. She’ll be running around the village and you have to follow her till she goes to a secret spot to get underground where everyone is hiding. The secret spot is under a desk in the old “voe and me” (I think that’s what it’s called) lesson room. Which is under the throne room.

Fun fact! After the first main ganon fight, where zelda is seen NOT her, but a puppet by the demon king, a bloodmoon does NOT include her, which is a great detail.

for number 22 if you have a weapon that is about to break then you can just unfuse it with the kid and then refuse those materials to new weapons and the durability will be restored as long as the breaking weapon is at the top of the fusion
or just feed it to an octorock as long as the weapon is a bit decayed

Adding on to what people have pointed out about the Shrine of Ressurection: There's also a connected location beneath it in the Depths
Something I realised after spending poes to reveal bargain statue locations, is there is always one under the main goddess springs.
Lightroots and shrines also line up so you can find vice versa through them.
Forges for more crystal charges are under settlements.
Bodies of water become walls under ground

One more thing u can still jump without the sufficient @mount of stamina, it’s helped me to get up to high places
Just so you know, to unfuse a weapon, go to your inventory and press +, and press “Destroy Fused Material” (I felt so dumb for not knowing that 😂😂😂)
That destroys the fused material though. Getting it unfused allows you to keep both the weapon AND the fused material
There’s also a yiga hideout under the resseruction shrine

It also makes me wonder how the ancient Sheikah and the Zonai were connected, outside the prominence of eye themes

Okay this is something I can’t unhear but it’s similar to the fan sound from sonic adventure entry: When you use Tulin’s ability the sound that it makes, it to me genuinely sounds similar to Dartrix’s cry from Pokémon. Now it isn’t one to one to the cry but it does sound like a part of it and I hear it every time
I keep hearing the female getting hurt noise from Classic Mortal Kombat games with Tulin's ability
