My problem with the boss is that the Gerudo girl keeps being in the worst places when I need her! Then I get overwhelmed by the Gibdoes in phase 2! It's so annoying! Thanks for the tips!

for me, the only thing that makes this boss tough is how infuriatingly bad Riju is to work with, instead of just readying the attack on her own, you have to hold her hand and give her the go to do it, and her then wait for the field to reach the boss, Riju is just sooooo bad

@@Azzavhar took a few attempts and a lil rage, but we got there, I honestly just had to take it serious and use my companions, Yuno's charge is great for a safe elemental proc from range, and Sidon is just great for soaking up damage, namely the laser/ and charge that instantly does half your hearts.

Also, I found a way to stop her tornado attack! If you shoot an ice fruit at her while she is rearing up to shoot the sandstorms, she doesn’t do the ability!

You want to fight them first as they increase their health by 25% every boss you kill
I'm so glad the light temple is fairly simple and easy to figure out bc I don't think I could have handled the frustration of both an annoying temple and a difficult boss especially after how annoying the fire temple was lol

I cheesed the fire temple with 2 rows of stamina
I was so close once, she was 1/10 of her health, weakened, all lights were opened in the roof, no Gibdoes on me, it was perfect, but suddenly she charged at me, which I thought could easily dodge to the left with.
She got caught on Yunobo’s sage, her body then slid to the left, and crashed right into me and killed me instantly.
I was full health, ten hearts.
She is so fucking annoying.
That charge forward attack is so powerful isn't it. Definitely. Good luck. Keep fighting on. You got this.

If you use a mirror shield when in the light beams, you can direct the light straight on to Gibdo and her monsters dealing her damage

Yeah the gibdos don’t just get stunned by the light beams, they straight up die.
Just one thing. There’s no lights in the rematch underground. No spotlights revealed after you destroy the Gibdo mushrooms
Where can I find a mirror shield?
@@goodestNoodle You run into a couple enemies throughout the dungeon using them so just defeat them and take their mirror shield.
I like this boss but i havent beaten it yet cause she feels insanely OP.

Thanks for the help! I didn't end up using the dazzle fruit to kill the smaller gibdos, I just focused on her tbh. But using Sidon's power as a one hit sheild really helped me not get blindsided by her charging attack and sand beam!

Another thing if you have trouble aiming under pressure like I do. Instead of fire fruit try the fire keese eyeballs she still gets weakend and I dont have to stress about missing my shot 😅

The first phase is easy enough for me. But the second phase isnt. I get overwhelmed with all the gibdos coming at me and then Riju's attack doesnt charge up quick enough. I cant dodge queen gibdo and the other gibdos at the same time

I have items and food and I still just get overwhelmed by all the gibdo. I get the mechanics of the fight and used the very same techniques mentioned in the video and comments I've seen. It's just annoying at this point.

Something else I hate about this boss? The fact that unless you have 50 hearts or so it can ONESHOT YOU WITH ANY OF ITS ATTACKS!

I don't think it's even possible to get 50 hearts
You just need a better armor.
Chu chu jelly works too. I put it on some arrows and it weakens them just like fire fruit. I also use keese eyes if she is still weak when she throws the sand storm. Shoot it way left or right and the arrow will hook around the storm and hit her.

thank you so much for this! while normally im fine taking my time with figuring out bosses and temples on my own, im on a bit of a time crunch to beat the main story this time. your strats in addition to a quick great fairy visit and some cooking saved me from many, many potential deaths and lots of wasted time. the dazzlefruit flashbang was my favorite part, i probably never wouldve thought to use it in this boss fight.

Sometimes dropping a Zonai mirror in the light beams helped with the second phase since the light will also solidify them. Can't remember off hand if it worked on the Queen since I only fought her twice. Resource commitment on this boss is a little obnoxious compared to the others

Something I've did in first phase (because you would have to dodge the gibdos in the second phase) is that of hiding behind the towers. It is good protection from the beam attack, and supposedly other attacks. If you want to hit queen gibdo, you can go out of hiding, fight, then back to hiding. A basic thing you can do is just sleeping in the more expensive beds at stables or inns for more hearts or stamina, but you can get them back after using those unless you pay again to sleep in the expensive beds.

phase 2 felt really unfair and punishing when i didn’t know i had to stay under the light, bc i had to shoot the nest while enemies were running towards me and dodge gibdo’s vomit trick. also i mostly find myself running in circles when trying to get a certain sage ability LOL

I used a part of the dragon to freeze the bibdos so i could move and destroy the pillars. I didnt know about the light either. I died, turned off my switch. And am back now! But damn she frustrated me so much

You can also use Yunobo to weaken queen gibdo but it doesn’t do much damage.

The trick is to remove the gibdos armor with an elemental arrow... then use Riju's electricity. It takes too long to recover it if your using it to weaken gibdos armor as well.

this boss fight is so wierd. In my entire time of playing botw for like 110 hours I only ever died twice to a boss. And the same with totk. but then queen Gibson comes along and I'm dying 5+ times???

In part 2 of the fight, just focus on targeting Queen Gibdo. Just run away from the the other gibdos. Forget about getting rid of the nests. Worked for me and defeated QG in about 5 minutes.

At the second phase, I had no arrows after destroying only one tower and I killed the queen with a mirror fuzed to my shield. I just stayed in the light, let my sages fight the little ones and I I slowly killed her. I just took the damage when she attacked. Took me 2 shields and two mirrors...

You can attach a mirror to your shield and stand in the light to deflect her beam!

this is the first temple im ever doing in this game, going in totally blind, with only a tiny bit of help from google. of course i chose to do the one with one of if not the hardest boss. the first phase is easy, but ive died twice already from the stupid gibdo. rijus lightning takes forever to charge up and shes always in the wrong place, plus the gibdo are faster than me, AND i only have 4 hearts. so i decided to resort to this video. hopefully itll help!

My strategy for this was to use electric weapons to hit her when she’s weakened. I also fused gibdo bones to my arrows so they did more damage. When the hives became active, i immediately took them out with bomb flowers rather than waiting for riju’s ability to recharge. I got rid of the gibdos by using the light and fire fruits, bomb flowers also seemed to work pretty good against queen gibdo. With this strategy i beat her first try
