Yeah 100% - im keen to see where they take this The fact you can add people to your team and fight with them as well just adds to the mount and blade feel, i like mount and blade too but damn if they didnt just abandon that game lmao
Having had a chance to spend a few hours with it now I just wish they'd given us a taste of the army sized battles and some of the empire/base building stuff. Wasn't too keen on using squires either as the side on combat in the game just gets waaay too cluttered with units to see wtf is going on, so lone wolf/ couple of companions seems like it will be the way to go.
Yeah this is facts, it would have been nice to see how it works It kind of seems like (looking at the upgrade trees) the minor combat like with the squires turns into an automatic fight for farming purposes at least
With a companion? The dual cultivation system works based on what techniques you and your partner own/dont own - so you can borrow the effects of one of your partners technique books basically
