I met Geordie at a after show party that Youth had and he was the coolest person and I miss him a lot,he had his own sound and was a very unique guitar player
All that really means is you have 40 years of content to enjoy. Killing Joke/Killing Joke is my fav album but again its hard, you can hear them change through the decades.,.,
yes extremely underrated, i'm stating to appreciate the lesser known bands since their music isn't played 140 times a day on your car stereo, a person can enjoy something different something that is authentic and not AI. since i spend almost everyday transporting railroad crews killing joke is one of those bands i take with me to listen to.
I've been with them since the beginning also, now I'm 59 I have always been impressed by the totally unique sound direction each album has delivered and has always been way ahead of what other bands can deliver. I know that they listen to KJ, most likely in envy.
They don't put other bands to shame. they show an alternative to your shit. you either will or will not like it. i fucking love it. Hear the pandimonium!

They embraced grunge/industrial rifts really well. I think US top 20 markets really turned their backs on this band. Discovering this band on my own as a child of the 90's, just wow. They're Awesome.
THANK YOU! I wasn't 100% sure but I thought my ears picked up on this not being the original mix. Still freaking awesome though. After doing a bit of digging around, it's apparently the Cybersank Edit, off of the Pandemomium single
Amazingly, right after the album release, Pandemonium and Millenium got decent commercial airplay on a short lived and great commercial alternative station - I remember the DJ being totally stoked with KJ's latest release. Sadly, that station turned into a top-40 station after about a year.

Jaz recorded his vocals on the song "Exorcism" in the King's Chamber in one the pyramids, yes. And I think the song "Communion". There's video of it in their documentary.

Geordie does it again. That sound just slices through you.

i mean how drastic jaz coleman"s vocal has evolved from his 80s new wavey singing into this a bit metallic vocal.
He had that voice on the earlier albums just not as common but he used it. Listen back to albums 'Night Time'
