There was nothing wrong with Ken and I don't understand why Wayne used to talked down about him after he left. While his playing isn't super technical or flashy, his drumming fit perfectly for the style of music they were going for.
@@guitars7225if it was political differences, Ken must be fairly left leaning if Wayne was willing to be in a band with Tripp Eisen (far right libertarian) and Koichi who is right wing republican, strangely enough. I'm fairly certain Edsel Dope has some fairly libertarian leanings too.
Is this actual isolated track? It sounds much more 'live' than I expected. Wayne said that both WDT and Machine was all drum machine except cymbals. I never believed him, I think he was trying to downplay how important the original members were to the band.
revivedfears it is the actual drum track, and I think it's real drums mixed with drum machine, Ken had to play the album twice to do live overdubs of the cymbals, that's how Wayne did Pighammer as well. I don't think they did JUST real drums until Shadow Zone
revivedfears Well yeah because it's Wayne playing all the instruments, that's how he did songs on WDT and Machine, he would bring a demo tape to the guys with the drum machine, and then Ken would record real drums and overdub the cymbals to then add that to the drum machine, the difference on Pighammer is that instead of doing a bunch of demos Wayne is doing everything on his own
@@eduardoculpi5783 so wayne played live drums on pighammer? It sounds all drum machine. I know he programmed drum machines and samples for demos that wasn't what I asked.
revivedfears Ok, I'm sorry for getting a bit out of context a bit there. But Yeah, Wayne did record live drums on Pighammer, and guitar, bass, and vocals
Awesome drummer. Very underrated

@@eduardoculpi5783 thanks for the answer mate. pighammer sounds all drum machine to me? There isn't a drummer listed on the album liner notes...
