    This track is FANTASTIC.
I really feel that calling, screaming, begging, for healing.
This manages to sound deeply frustrated and lost, yet hopeful at the same time.
Like he's screaming from the absolute rock bottom of hell so loud that even heaven can hear it.

Ray Luzier truly amazed me on this album and particularly this song, because he actually homages the way David Silveria would drum for an old KoRn chorus, such as Make Me Bad. Ray, more than any other album, owns this one. Excellent album by the way.

They each served their important inputs in different ways. I still feel David's raw and mostly "amateurish" hip hop approach was more fitting to it's time than Ray's more professional and "technical" approach. I like them both for their own merits but you really can't replace Silveria.😅

Here behind the curtain lies a darkness feeding
Pooled inside, in hunger cries, and still it's eating
Everything I had to hide is all on my sleeve
And behind the curtain lies my soul, I’m bleeding
    [Pre-Chorus]
    And I see it
    Can't believe it
    And the sun goes down
    Taking my heart
    [Chorus]
    What is this I'm feeling?
    Is it a new beginning?
    Am I purging past regrets
    Facing the hurt I’m dealing?
    How does one start healing?
    The darkness is revealing
    The bittersweet reality
That this is the help I'm needing
    [Verse 2]
Why must I be bastardized? My essence flees
Search my mind and all I find is banded feelings
Once you pull the bandage off, you feel the sting
Only way to fix it is through painful suffering
    [Pre-Chorus]
    And I see it

Every time a new KoRn album comes out, people everywhere talk about how it sounds “old school” and it’s sounds like “KoRn again” and they proclaim, “KoRn is back!”...
Goddamnit people KoRn has never gone anywhere!!!
