I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH. I really dig how mechanical and inside Jon's brain it felt throughout the entire listen. Literally until the end. I felt like it was all over the place, but so damn appropriately so. One of the first few songs I decided to pick and listen to at random once the album was out!
Fucking excellent album. The riffs. The lyrics. The heaviness. And Jonathans epic delivery of the emotional bomb he has carried. Godamn epic album. !!!!
There are solid reasons as to why I, as well as critics and fans, feel that this is one of KoRn's best albums of all time... And I think that this is KoRn's most critically acclaimed album ever... Up there with Korn, Follow The Leader, Issues and Untouchables. In fact, I feel it's better than Untouchables, and equivalent to Issues. The drums are perfect, I truly have massive respect for Ray now. The Bass, rubber band slap and other techniques, I'm so happy Fieldy is back. Head and Munky are brilliant on this album, their riffs and melodies are some of the best of Korn. Nick Raskulnicts, should be KoRn's permanent Producer from now on, excellent production work. And last, but not least, Jonathan Davis, he sounds better than ever before on this album. His lyrics are so powerful and tragic at the same time. They have really achieved something groundbreaking here, after 25 years and 13 studio albums, along with exits and entrances, they are stronger than fucking ever now... And The Nothing, proves it.

What MADE Korn appealing and kind of a wonder, was their ability to express musical insanity . The “ harder and harder” delivery and outro ending is INSANE. Korn is Korn when you ask yourself “ what the fuck did I just hear?”.. The biggest smile happens in those moments .

Anyone else notice that the bass line at 3:09 is the same bass line from Blind? Kinda something cool in my opinion. Maybe like a throw back to their early stuff
As a lifelong fan of KoRn and hearing their entire known discography, this material sounds far more composed, well-produced and even a bit madder than their previous E.P. and albums. Big improvement over The Paradigm Shift if you ask me.
Steven Bramante I agree. Paradigm Shift wasn't bad. Song writing was pretty good, some riffs on that album were solid, but it felt like the songs sounded the same. Ray Luzier's drumming on that album is next level though. Serenity of suffering was great too, people forget how good and heavy that album was.
Jacob Boone yeah I agree on that too. What serenity lacked imo is bass riffs and lyrics. I loved some of the lyrics, but it didn't feel like a "dark" Korn album if that makes sense. And it feels like the bass in sos wasn't much of a stand out. For the lyrics it felt like no lyrical content stood out to me or stuck with me as much as Issues or The Nothing has.

Perfect timing. I’ve just started working full time at my retail job which has left me a lot more drained and resentful of my job than I thought, while most of my coworkers my age have gone away to college or even progressing to higher positions at the store. I look at my situation and everything in my life, short of getting my own place finally, feels like it’s stagnated. Nothing has changed year to year but my age. I too am asking myself these questions.

@@FathomMane I love it since it came out. And everything Jonathan Davis does I love.
@@FathomMane I'm sorry, I read wrong and I misunderstood you. Have a nice day 👍🏼
The soul of the band is in this song, definitely the best of the album
Verlos nuevamente en México me dio vida y ahora un nuevo álbum es la perfección éste año. 2019 fue año de Korn. Amor desde 🇲🇽!!
Damn I’m so sorry for your loss Jonathan I’ve been a fan since 94 and seen you guys over 20 times and even met you on a few occasions. Stay strong
This song is of my favorite in this album ❤❤❤
Yes korn and Slipknot never disapoint me like ever i will always love them thry have always had love and respect for one another and honestly wish the rest of the world was like that but whatever
2020 found a new band I’m in love with!!
... Does the year really matter to you?
Finding Korn in 2020 is weird, but good nonetheless.
This bring me faith in the humanity
I have been a fan of korn & every member ever since I heard them at 7 along with slipknot & etc. But still 19 years later releasing some of the heaviest music that incorporates real stories. I absolutely love & respect Johnathan Davis for sharing his journey with us & the band for how the shape the stories.
"Tell me why my life keeps getting harder and harder and harder."
Me when I step on a Lego
Sometimes it's how I feel smh
You poor thing, I'm so sorry.
Masterpiece!!!!
Yeah!!!
I'm very impressed and its been a while since I've had a song on repeat!!
Best guitar riff of this album
I've had this album for about a week now, and I'm still going to buy the album tomorrow, it's a banger for sure. This is my favorite track of The Nothing. Please support the band and buy the album, let's get it to #1. 🤘
Best part for me, the chaos at the end that threatens to fall apart and the beat says fuck that, we’re barreling through the insanity only to crash at the end.
Style of 96' Darkness of 99' Quality of 2019!
This album is literally me, these songs are so relatable and comforting
My life isnt the only thing that got harder when i listened to this...
