This and 'Get Up!' are probably two of my favorite Korn songs, and I like most of them. I really was hoping these songs would have led more bands to go with this type of music.
It helps that Skrillex - prior to his solo career - was actually in the rock/metal scene. Namely he was the Rhythm Guitarist and a Vocalist on From First to Last's 2nd and 3rd studio releases (first release was technically an EP) He actually has been with that band again since 2017 it looks like. I think it's fairly common for producers to have a broad background or at least listen to a broad spectrum of music even if they've never worked in that genre before.

Its 2011, me my brother and a few of his friends are riding around listening too path of totality. I remember i bought the album a few days after this album dropped. Good times!
I heard the whole album for the first time a few months after it came out, I first discovered skrillex through a friend in november 2011 and found this I wanna say like january-ish i think, I never heard of korn until this music video showed up on mtv one day and I couldn’t get enough of it, this whole album was my introduction to killthenoise, excision, noisia, and feedme and its so awesome that people are still finding this🔥
Man I remember when this song came out, one of the few CDs I actually bought before iTunes entirely ruined the music industry. I remember it blowing the minds of metals and dub heads alike. Truly and underdog song of it's time. With even better lyrics than most songs. Miss these days,
Are you kidding me? If you think iTunes ruined the music industry then you must not know anything about the music industry. Or at least not the aspect of it you’re currently speaking on. iTunes did nothing to the music industry. The downfall you’re talking about was the result of piracy in the 00’s and by the time this came out, everything was being torrented. Literally every single album was leaked before it even came out and record sales plummeted massively. iTunes had absolutely nothing to do with anything besides provide digital sales to an artist’s overall sales.
Its the equivalent to the "Heavy stuff" that distorted guitars are. Rock= bass, guitar, drums, + the heavy stuff aka Distorted guitars Pop/EDM= bass, drum, SFX + the heavy stuff aka Bass wobbles wubby wubbs (Dubstep) So in a way, they play similar roles in theyre own genre
The same band that has made a heavy metal nursery rhyme song can also mix with dubstep and absolutely kill it? Ladies and Gentlemen, Korn!

When u forget this song about of three years and finally u remember again this song, amazing.
I remember bumping this when I first got my license in 11th grade! It was a beautiful time in my life building up my senior year in 2012!
Cyberpunk 2077: Well, we have Grimes for our soundtrack.
Korn ft Skrillex: Hold our beer.
Honestly, this song would look great in Cyberpunk 2077
This for cyberpunk 2077 would be perfect
Nice
Cyberpunk 2077 ❤
this music video runs better than cyberpunk
Its 2011, me my brother and a few of his friends are riding around listening too path of totality. I remember i bought the album a few days after this album dropped. Good times!
I heard the whole album for the first time a few months after it came out, I first discovered skrillex through a friend in november 2011 and found this I wanna say like january-ish i think, I never heard of korn until this music video showed up on mtv one day and I couldn’t get enough of it, this whole album was my introduction to killthenoise, excision, noisia, and feedme and its so awesome that people are still finding this🔥
I'm not a massive Korn guy I won't lie , but I'd be lying if I said this isn't a banger .
As a metalhead, I wish I could be as heavy as KoRn and Skrillex.
this is an awesome track. perfect use of dubstep.
They changed their style but that's what musicians do. They're artists. This sounds damn good, and I bet you that they're enjoying doing this.
not only is it a successful fusion of two very unlikely genres - but it's a catchy as HELL tune! I LOVE this song.
Literally every single album was leaked before it even came out and record sales plummeted massively. iTunes had absolutely nothing to do with anything besides provide digital sales to an artist’s overall sales.
that was excellent, they actually know how to use dubstep and not abuse it. Good balance
Its the equivalent to the "Heavy stuff" that distorted guitars are.
Rock= bass, guitar, drums, + the heavy stuff aka Distorted guitars
Pop/EDM= bass, drum, SFX + the heavy stuff aka Bass wobbles wubby wubbs (Dubstep)
So in a way, they play similar roles in theyre own genre
that is so right because some songs don't even make sense
*****
Lol, that typical hater logic. Skrillex sucks, but Skrillex is pretty good, haha. Make up your mind pricks.
And Im replying again just to piss everyone off
WaveWonder1 I'm also replying to be a boner. It's like troll time travel.
Lowkey sounds like a Linkin Park song. And I LOVE IT. Brings me back, man. Miss the early 2010s.
Lincoln Park - X-executioner Style
12 Years later still one of its kind! Wish there will be more collabs!
Esto debería ser un nuevo genero musical.
Pues ya existe el trap-rock
Existe, es el metalstep
