- In this video I wanted to test and see whether Worker Bamboo Nerf Darts are actually better than standard ones.

That blaster sounds terrifying during the accuracy test.
It sounds so good. My loudest blaster is actually my Rival Fate with the inline 4 short dart kit and an upgraded spring. When I ask my friends to fire it, it scares them the first shot every time. It sounds Ike it’s breaking itself every shot it’s so loud 😂

Wish you can also test with lower power blasters if you have the time (like XYL Unicorn with long barrel and bcar), to see if bamboos will indeed perform better.
The problem is that the Unicorn does shoot a higher fps with Bamboos, so the test wouldn't be a fair comparison when you consider tuning for fps limits.

If guys haven’t seen it yet, Bradley also has another Dart review from a year ish ago where he compares like 5-6 darts at once. It’s the reason I bought the Worker Bamboos.
I’d like to see a vid where you compare normal workers to bamboos in accuracy test where you use Bcars, pcars and scars because I’ve heard that bamboos sometimes pair well with bcars.

I ran a similar experiment but with fresh standard HE's and used Worker bamboos in a 200 fps cap harrier setup. 196 fps average 3 fps std out of 30 shots with the used bamboos, and only 184 fps avg and 8 std with the fresh HE's. I think bamboo vs uniform is really just another variable to consider when optimizing for a specific community cap, not about which of the two is better.

I’ve noticed that in any of my springers the bamboo darts have only increased FPS a little bit but the consistency is what makes them shine. In my harrier the FPS has been kinda all over the place settling in the 180 range but with bamboos I’ve seen 190-195 with pretty much every shot. The only thing that sucks is nobody in the states seams to be carrying the bamboos anymore. I don’t know if they didn’t sell well but I’d have to get them from worker directly or settle for the 1.2 gram ones.

Yeah, same experience from me. Around 200fps, bamboos shoot a bit faster but also significantly more consistent. I replicated the same experiment with the heavy he's and the heavy bamboos and came to a similar conclusion (30 shots, only 2fps std on the heavy bamboos but complete wacko with uniform) but 10 fps lower due to the weight. From the rest of my testing though, if you're shooting at 240fps and over, the pattern flips around and the normal he design becomes way more consistent than the bamboo design.

It is impossible to eradicate the tolerance of the foam body,and the bamboo mould can minimize the tolerance,make every single one of them in a same shape,so bamboo darts is definitely the best!

@@pacibels_cannon glow darts aren’t the most reliable to begin with, they are fun but of course they have to use different materials to make the darts glow so it makes sense that it may not be as reliable sized as the main sellers.
How does the darts hold up my last set of darts I had the head of the dart would come off easily after hitting the target after a couple times.. do you have that issue with theses

Decrease the inner barrel coefficient of friction . place darts in bag , add a pinch of graphite powder shake for 10 seconds . Wall ah, more fps better groupings never need to re apply. The stuff sticks like s**t to the blanket.
These were the two darts I bought a lot of first haha😂 Bamboo definitely are much more accurate and more powerful in my 250 fps X Long with 13mm ID 16 inch long barrel.
Are you planning on getting your hands on the new worker 1.2g darts for testing? It sounds like they might be beneficial at high fps.

Hi Brad! I am a Nerfer and Airsofter and am looking into Worker Bamboo's because I'm using the WASP-76, a Mid-range AEG which seems like it would benefit from Bamboos. However as you said yourself the effect bamboos have on stuff like a M20 isn't as prominent, do you know of any videos of people using bamboo workers in a more 200-250 FPS range? i am having troubles finding videos. Love The content BTW!
I have used them in my last few review videos, if one of those blasters shoots in that range you should be able to get the results you're after. Maybe Unicorn video?
@@BradleyPhillipsYT I’ve done some calculating with the unicorn video and I’m thinking the bamboos may be making a 10~20 FPS increase on your blaster. Considering the better feeding with bamboos in AEG’s I think I should give worker bamboos a try. Honestly I think you are a legend because you actually respond to your viewers, Thank You!
For consistency, reliability and convenience I only use A.F or Pro Bamboozled in my 76 but Worker works better because of its smaller dimensions and denser foam.

Can confirm worker bamboos work like a dream in the wasp 76. Much better consistency in accuracy and feeding than he's

do barrels work with flywheelers?
and im trying to use an airsoft scope on my springer but i am having trouble with tuning it, do you think you could do a video on that? general scope and sight sighting in if that makes any sense
A loose fitting barrel can help guide a dart out of a flywheel blaster, but anything tight or rifled will significantly reduce the velocity.
As for zeroing a sight it's pretty much the same as zeroing a sight on a real gun or on Airsoft. Shoot at a target, see if it missed, adjust.

I’m quite new so excuse my not knowingness
in my case in the states worker he darts dont do as well, ive noticed bad quality control in the lengths of darts being too small, too big, etc. then almost all of my blasters lose 15 to 20 fps. on fresh max darts they do just fine and meet the expected fps. got over 3k worker darts so idk if it was all a bad run of them or not
The newer ones are all 36mm, older were I think 37mm
@@BradleyPhillipsYT these were like all different tho. Had one that was half the size of a half dart then a 3/4 dart as well. Just looks like bad quality control
How often do your darts break when you are shooting them at such high velocities at your targets? I am trying to figure out what would be a safe material to shoot 300 fps darts at while preventing them from breaking.
Good darts like Worker from this distance don't seem to break, the target is wood too. Can't speak for other darts though.
I shoot into a blanket. This arrests the dart gently and does zero damage to the dart, of your looking to prolong your dart life.
@@BradleyPhillipsYTthe thing about worker darts is that they tend to partially decap at close ranges (aka indoors), but it’s a lot less pronounced outdoors at further ranges.
It’s why I mostly use DZ rubies even if they are a tad less accurate since I mostly plink indoors.
@@Castdeathpossibly because Dart Zone have the compression tip with a hole in it which helps absorb the force of the impact. The glue strength itself is identical between Worker and Dart Zone these days.

I'd agree about AEB/HPA. My Challenger and HPA seem to feed better with them. Have no fps difference in my springers really but a little more with HPA. I find the accuracy of bamboo to be worse when it gets up near 300fps and above.
Forgot to mention they seem more tolerant of a poor seal so perhaps the performance increase people get is because their seals aren't ideal?
@@dangermaus9253 quite possibly, a bad seal is one part of inefficiency
The Sabre might not be the best blaster for this kind of test. I would have liked to see it in the Storm and Unicorn, especially with bcars.
Those are two blasters which gain fps when you use bamboo darts. So the comparison would be more difficult, as I would need to find a stronger spring to then shoot the standard Worker darts with or vice versa.
@BradleyPhillipsYT That's true, it would be testing a different set of parameters. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think those tests would be more suited to these darts because those are the blasters in which they're more likely to be useful overall. I'd like to see the actual increase in velocity, especially on the Unicorn, as well as the potential difference in precision and range at the 150-200 fps range that the Unicorn typically operates at.
@@senoraliin my Unicorn review I noticed that standard Worker darts tended to shoot sometimes half the distance of bamboo. Definitely one blaster you want bamboos for.

In my own experience I didn't see any real difference between them with my worker Swift, Caliburn or Chetah

In my experience yes. Bamboo is better, about accuracy.
where is the hpa test?
HPA is generally less consistent overall
Yo your worker bamboos you have are not moulded properly, their quality control for the ribbs of their darts is not properly molded thats why you are not achieving the full potential of the bamboos, if you can see the cheetos darts done by my friend, jethro, his bamboo ribbs are more indented which enables lesser friction and higher accuracy. you have to make your own bamboos and compare with the ones worker makes.
Self made bamboos take a week at least to make and a properly made bamboo hits 15- 25 fps higher
my red home made bamboos are hitting 216 fps avg on the unicorn
You've missed the entire point of this video. The fps gain means absolutely nothing when you have an fps cap. Which is why I used a blaster which doesn't benefit from bamboo darts velocity gain for this comparison.
Most blasters which do gain velocity from bamboo actually have too long of a barrel or are inefficient in some other way, such as the Unicorn.
