- Gojira are a French metal band from Bayonne. Formed in 1996, the band was known as Godzilla until 2001. Gojira is composed of Joe Duplantier on vocals and rhythm guitar, his brother Mario Duplantier on drums, Christian Andreu on lead guitar and Jean-Michel Labadie on bass. Since their first studio album, Gojira has had no changes in lineup, written five studio albums and produced three live DVDs.

@@youhell2328 it was at sonic temple in colombus Ohio. I was there, they had the flames on stage and the wind was strong and blew the fire and he burnt his arm and face I believe. The intro to flying whales was running about 5 minutes til christian came back on stage when joe had everyone chant his name. Then they preceded to jam the heaviest song ever
Christian is definitely the toughest, not just his bones as joe said but once at a live concert he got burned by one of these flamethrower things in the stage, he just needed a short time and then continued the entire show, it's like that guy is made out of metal!

Meh Sugaaar Because it's always either the drummer or the lead... or maybe the rhythm... but lead will let you know.
Mario is the most talented member of the band. It's what I love about them, the guitars are relatively simple, and the drums are super intricate and complex.
@@shamicentertainment1262 the guitar riffs are quite simple but the timings for tempo changes and changes in the groove are quite complex and the stringed instruments do well remembering those changes
