UPDATE (11/7/2023) about Antler Fragment Prices: Today (Patch Day) BiS Lists came out and basically none of them require these new embellishments. Without any major nerfs/buffs to embellishments or embellished gear, the demand for these embellishments and these antlers are a lot lower than expected :(. So far, I expect these antlers to settle around 5-10k like the Cobraskin currently is. I still think its worth to farm since it only takes a handful of minutes, but its definitely not as good as cobraskin was at the start of Patch 10.1. I would likely not hold these items specifically for raid week unless you believe a potential nerf/buff will happen!

Well I started DF with two gathering professions at the beginning and made roughly 600k before the prices for mats dipped. Afterwards I followed Penguins "passive gold guide" and leveled taloiring and alchemie for the bolts, bags and transmutations. Once 10.1 dropped I made sure to get the new transmutation recipe for Dracothyst. I started doing that with multiple chars after reaching max level. I also prepared an enchanter for the enchanted shadowcrest crafts. Ressourcefullness proccs are sooo good! That's basically it. It a pretty chill but slow way of getting gold without much work at all. I could have made more by rushing alts but that's too draining ^^ @@doranaishorts
Dracothyst was selling for A LOT like 10k+ week 1 and people thought that it'd end up going up once season 2 started and there was actually a use for it but apparently everyone was holding out for that and it's price tanked hard. So for stuff like the skinning item could be worth not holding out too and selling when the demand is super high at the start.
The issue with dracothyst is that we over hyped the demand (only needed 1 or 2 per crest and couldn’t mass craft crests) while at the same time you could create a mass amount of dracothyst due to exploits, and just the nature of the craft. Assuming the embellishment is BiS (that will have a huge impact on this), way more embellishments will be created just because of the type of item and there’s a huge rarity factor to antlers. People can’t just keep mass producing them But yes, whether you decide to sell week 1 or wait is up to you and how the markets look
Hi, the new contract recipe says it's acquired in the superbloom event, but only in the weekly chest? Or each time I complete the event I have an opportunity to get it? Thanks, keep with the excellent gold making videos :)
Good question! I personally haven't gotten the contract either and theres currently conflicting information atm. Some people who have the recipe have claimed that they have gotten it from the last boss and were able to farm it back to back hourly, while others say it only comes from the weekly reward. Hopefully we will get more solid proof next reset!
@@Penguinr2gt I learned that last season... Ithe tokens give some extra gold while farming augment runes. But now I'm seeing I forgot to thank you for all the good tips I didn't know a lot of things about the new patch and now I know where I will be focusing my time :)

I really did not like the recipe dificults as they were designed, but it would nice to have these recipies from a vendor and in raid you could get a more profitable version. I couldnt get any recipe in this expansion so far. (one pvp one that they nerfed to the ground lol) I have 40+ alts 38k achievements, doing pvp, pve, rp but this is just sad.
Yea, sadly lots of recipes are locked behind raiding this expansion, and this patch specifically. Hopefully they do something different next expansion!
Its a good video, some tips are nice but dont waste time with convert fragments! If u really have a lot to convert its better to just use this time to fly and do gold world quest, skinning mobs, get herbs, everything will worth more gold/hour.

ty pengu, the crest fragment gold value information is helping me a lot. did not convert for the last 2 mounts and got litteraly thousends of fragments scatred around 10 alts. Edit: the 12 tokens from vault sold for me last patch for the same amount as u can convert them into gold right now.
Good question, sadly I dont have a 100% sure answer. Based on the wording of the drop source, it seems like you can have multiple chances throughout the week - however, if it turns out that the recipe only comes from the weekly turn-in bag, then obviously your chances go down to weekly (or if there is some sort of hidden daily/weekly cap that we dont know of for the smaller rewards). We should hopefully get more information once people can farm it this week!
There’s been no official confirmation about flight stones resetting or not. I know some people are spending them because they assume they will reset like other seasonal currency while others are holding onto some just in case they don’t

It can be more nuanced than that. Many people have times where they can have the game open but aren't devoting their full attention to it -- watching a video elsewhere, or waiting for a call to come in at work. Also, devices with programmable macros like "hit X key every 5 seconds" can take the hardware wear and tear out of the equation as well.
So you're saying it's filler content that you can watch brainlessly? I mean, if its ok for some, sure, but not for me. Also, to combine 300k fragments, with lets say 0.5 second a click, it still takes more than 2 hrs. Its gonna cost more $$ to keep the game/pc running for that time than you gain from it.

The unused tokens of merit turn into trash itens that sells for 500gold each, so if you buy crests you will be loosing gold
