The car does 0 to 60 in 3.5 secs. It puts the power down just fine, especially since it now has launch control.
I hope they offer a 2013 in black with grabber blue stripes. I love that combo.
But grabber blue with black strips is awesome too.
Anyone know how heavy this engine is? All ive been able to find is a 5.0 magazine technical article featuring this 5.8 and they wrote 623lbs complete with water pump. Seems pretty heavy to me? If anyone has details, please let me know

@elr456 its a heavy engine. for comparison the 638hp 604ftlb LS9 weighs in (dressed) at ~530lbs. not sure of shipping weight.
@onewheelwonder1000 Impossible... At least in stock form... The GT500 Engines are running mustangs into the Mid 8's all factory Engines.

351 is gonna make this thing accelerate noticeably faster along with the improved aerodynamics. I say good luck to camaro owners when this hits the street.
My question is will this bore increase hurt people wanting to get more power out of this car? Will it take much more?

14.5psi double atmosphere efectively doubles power in GT500, use a $40 pulley to get 1000hp
No way dude, ZL1 is only like 570hp. Its' not 790hp.

14.7psi doubles atmosphere, effectively double displacement to double horsepower
GT500 has 15psi boost, ZL1 only has 7psi but makes 790hp with 15psi boost

14.7 psi is one atmosphere at sealevel. not 2 atmospheres.

I laugh when I think of seeing five E92 M3s a day where I live during summer and their drivers with popped polo collars and spiked hair. I also laugh cause I'm sure some of them don't know any of the buttons and that chances are they accidentally pushed the sport button and have been wondering ever since why their car's ride is so stiff.
