I’ve asked friends who worked at McDonald’s and they said they hear the noise after work as well.
Can confirm, worked somewhere similar and heard the beeps in my dreams after my first closing shift

For those that are actually curious and don't know: Most of the beeping noises come from the Vats, but some sounds also come from the grill platterns, and the heating racks that prepared meat is kept in (iirc when the timer on a rack expires to tell you to bin the food).

The "Cowbell" (or that black key you play) is the quarter pounder.
The other ones are the reminders on the fry station that the fries need to be thrown out (they never get thrown out)
Which is exactly why the beeping persist constantly
from what i remember the cowbell is correct but the other noise is the fryers asking to be cleaned (crew usually just ignores the cleaning plea and leaves it for overnight) and the noise can be stopped by pressing a button on the fryer but everyone has already grown desensitized to it so it just never shuts up

Worked at McDonald's for 3 years. I never found out what caused that noise, it just kinda happens during a rush ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's the fryers. The fryer needs filtered every 30 mins and it'll make that noise when it does.
If I recall correctly, it’s to do with fries. Although, I prefer this reality.
As a current maccas, it’s either those bands kids who missed practice because of work or the beeping is coming from deep within. No one can fully shut all the noises off

I remember when I first started working on grill I would always end up hearing that beeping sound after my shift, even in the shower. Some ptsd if anything that some new crew members experience. At some point I got used to the sound and it doesn’t ring in my head as it used to. I tell you working at McDonald’s or any fast food joint is a straight up war. Having to drop a quarter pounder only for someone to order another one and another. And also having to work under pressure when it gets busy/during rush hour.
