Megz I know you are planning on growing out your hair soon but baby that bob is so elegant and sophisticated on you. I'm loving is it so much that I did mine too. Lol. Girl the compliments just keep rolling in.
Girl I agree getting your hair cut was the best thing for your hair I’ve seen your hair do a complete 360! It looks much healthier and fuller ! So glad you found what worked for you. ❤️
It be so hard to cut our hair especially when we finally start to see some growth. Still we all know when it’s time to let somethings go. I just did a cut and my styles are looking so much better. Thanks! Seeing all your hair transformations makes it easy when it be time to let it go. Because the goal should always be the health of our hair and not just the length of our hair. Ladies don’t be afraid of them scissors when it’s time! As long as you have a regimen you should be good.
Thank youuuu! Yesss it can be hard at times but once your hair starts to transform for the better it’s soooo much better in the long run to cut the hair off and start fresh.
Wow you really spoke to me . My hair has been shedding like crazy and I couldn’t figure out why . My scalp was extremely dry and flaky, feeling irritated. Also I am colored treated . So I’m on a new journey and purchased Olaplex . Wish me luck .
Oh my gosh you just explain my exact situation. I been back to relaxing for about 5 months now. I HAVE To moisturize daily with a water base leave in or at least every 2 days. And deep condition EVERY week. Thank you for this! It’s time for a trim for me now but moisture is key.
I have cut like 2 inches off, textlaxed wear half wigs, headband wigs, and sometimes twists, and ive seen my hair retain more length. It is a full time job pre pooing, deep conditioning, protein, moisturize and seal etc but worth it.
I’m experiencing most of these! I’m natural but I only get it straightened twice a year and I thought it would keep my hair healthier but it is a mess on top of a sore scalp due to protective styles this year. I’ll start getting a trim maybe every 2-3 months.
Good to seeing you again Megz I hope and pray that your family and friends are doing well. Thank you for sharing keep up the great work loved your New look making you beautiful. I just cut my hair feb 19, of this year 2024. I am still natural In May it will be 4year natural I have been getting tried of it all and the wig and trying to keep coloring my hair over the years .
I’m going back natural. I just chopped most of my permed hair off. Perms grow my hair, but I hate when the new growth comes in. I haven’t used heat on my hair in years. Love your tips. Tfs🤗
@@islandchicblessed3766 I go back and forth between being natural and relaxers too 🤣 I'm almost 40 and still don't know what to do with my multi-textured hair.
And don't forget to take B12; Omega 3 & Magnesium...My hair started growing really fast with the vitamins. I did everything that Meg talked about plus adding my supplements back. My hair is shedding right now. The only thing that changed was giving the vitamins a break and I did a protein treatment. My hair didn't like that. I know that my hair is protein sensitive but I did it anyway. I am back on my vitamins and the hair is going back in braids to see if I can stop the shedding after the protein treatment. Thank you sis for reminding us to check our routine.😝
I can relate to so much of this.. In Jan 2021 I decided I was going to stop "protective styling" after a good 7years of back to back style and wear my curls.. But noticed that my texture was very different from in my 20's, when I'd 1st went natural.. My hair was very long, midback/almost natural waist legnth.. But my curls were rough, thin strands, low density, stringy looking.. Cut to couple months ago, I went to a natural curly cut stylist and my hair is now in a curly bob.. Starting my hair journey all over.. It's now weekly washing, easy styling, and will be staying in contact with a stylist going forward to ensure I keep up on trims.. I'm already seeing growth, but can't wait to get back to the legnth I'd had but healthy this time.. Love getting to watch others journeys as they discover what works best for them and their hair..
My hair is relaxed. When you go gym and you sweat lets say 3 times a week. What would you do after your hair is wet after the gym? Also I like to put the gel on my sides. Do you recommend washing it out every night so theres no build up
My hair is doing some of those same things after coming back from natural for 2 years. My ends are terrible, they’ve been trimmed but I need an actual hair cut! It’s shedding also. Thank you so much for sharing!
It was easy to go natural, I big chop’d but not as easy to go bck to chemicals.
