I would love to incorporate this method into my hair care routine, but my hair is always in a protective style such as braids/twists. Do you have any idea of when I should do this?
I have been doing this for many years. I almost wear my hair in a bun all the time. I do the bagging method, then put a drawstring ponytail on top of the bun. That way my ends are good all day.
I have low porosity hair. I been doing this for years in my wraps. Otherwise I will have breakage out the wahoo!!! Whenever people ask about my long length and I tell them what I'm doing... Immediate reaction is "THAT'S TOO MUCH TO DO!" Glad to know other people value the work to keep healthy, hydrated ends.
@neemasaruni4608 I try different things depending on how my hair is feeling. I use coconut oil summer/spring, but Castro oil doing the winter. If I go swimming, then I tend to use Castro oil.
