It's the end of the battle. Both sonic and Goku are exhausted. Goku use his Kamehameha wave while sonic flew straight into it. And then a big explosion happens. When we can see clear we see only Goku and he says:
" That... was awesome! Gotta do it again someday" Falls on his back.
Note: I'm fan of both sonic and dragon ball and if I ever will see this will get an official death battle I will be on 7 heaven.

I wanna see this so bad. Watch Sonic outrun a Kamehameha, have Goku Instant Transmission to get the upperhand only to realize Sonic already got behind him, see Super Sonic try to use Chaos Control only for Goku to Kaio-ken through it. All of it would be so epic...
There’s a clear difference between Hit’s Time skip and Chaos Control.
Hit Time Skip is just him skipping while Chaos Control can freeze time, teleport objects and warp reality.

I recently realized that the lyric “think you can match my speed?” can refer to *both* of them; Sonic’s speed and Goku’s UI
This is one I wasn't expecting to get a lyrical track. It speaks volumes when the vocal track is just as godlike as its instrumental.

Usually lyrical tracks get used in death battles, maybe death battle had plans for goku vs sonic but got changed to goku vs superman at the last minute
Even though I hate how toxic debates for this matchup can get I won't lie this is definitely is an amazing vocal version that captures the heart of Sonic and Goku in song form.
TBF, a lot of Sonic and Goku debates can be toxic, but oddly enough I've rarely seen toxicity among veteran debaters for Sonic vs Goku itself, though if this became a real episode I think that would change.
@@thesmashor4396 Depends on the Sonic. If its Game Sonic Goku wins because he just has to outlast Super Sonic. I think that's where Sonic's weakness lies he is too dependent on external power ups.
@@kappadarwin9476 but there's a small problem with Goku outlasting Super Sonic: that's IF Goku can outlast Super Sonic. In Advance, Super Sonic lasted for a few dozen days (at least 24 days), in Frontiers he can get tons of rings by just doing one Cycloop, in Sonic Jump it was confirmed that Sonic has 70 Billion Rings. None of Goku's forms last nearly that long, so Game Sonic still stomps Goku. Oh and Sonic's Base form alone is enough to murder MUI Goku, since he scales above Time Eater and Solaris in Lost World/Forces in just his base form, villains that he previously needed his Super form for.

If this ever does happen, it'd be really cool to see Sonic grind on the Power Pole as if it was a rail from Frontiers to rush towards Goku on the Flying Nimbus. That could lead to them fighting as they fall through the air and Sonic quick cylooping the Power Pole out of Goku's hands to hit Goku to bounce it off Goku as Sonic homing attacks Goku to send them both to the ground only to have Goku call out to the Power Pole to extend it making them both move their heads out of the way in opposite directions as Goku grabs on it and kicks Sonic off of himself while also stopping his descent.
This matchup is poetic in a sense. Super Sonic and even the Chaos Emeralds themselves did start as a nod to Dragon Ball Z.
But over the years, so many things bled into Sonic from DBZ and anime and general, it resulted in all the greatness that we remember. Sonic 06's Super Sonic sharing powers scene and Sonic Frontiers as a whole are the best examples.
And during the whole time, Dragon Ball also changed. It did took elements from pop culture, even if the additions were miniscule. And it resulted in nods to alot of things, even Sonic.
So yah, powerscaling aside, I can proudly say that I would be thrilled to see this soundtrack to be used in some great fight animation, especially involving both of these franchises.
But do please give Toriyama all the notes so he doesn't forget about the existance Goku's brain and his vast arsenal of techniques.

Hello everyone! I apologize that this one came late, as I didn't realize my approval was required before release lol. I specifically requested for a vocal version when I pitched this MU, so if you ask he WILL make a vocal version. I like how both characters are represented accurately here! They'd have a good bout, even if one of them has to hold back. I like how at 1:57 it is implied goku goes ultra instinct and sonic turns super. I hope someone does a fight animation to this track someday!

I thought Symbol of Hope was my favorite lyric track but Ultrasonic is a close second. The fact that I had to stop and think which one I loved more proves how good this track is. Good job Brandon and Logan for creating two of my favorite tracks of all time.

Ok, so one thing I really like about these lyrics is that it seems to be in the perspective of Sonic. I know that can be debatable, but listening to them I feel they fit Sonic more than Goku.
My favorite part of the song is when at near the beginning it has the lines , "Think you can match my speed? You’re delirious indeed" to then changing those lyrics at the end saying, "Looks like you matched my speed guess that I’m the fool indeed". These lyrics are what really convince me that the song is in Sonic's perspective. Shows that at first Sonic isn't taking this fight seriously only to realize in the end that Goku is really pushing him to his limits and that he severely underestimated him.
I also really liked "Right through my ultimate defense this is starting to get fun!" could really fit in part of the fight where Goku actually manages to hurt Super sonic and the line fits Sonic really well having fun with the fight. Though it does also fits Goku well since he also enjoys a good fight.
All the phrases can also fit Goku. When he is fighting he has amazing reflexes, so in the beginning can be thought as if he says "you think you can hit me?", and then in the end "well, you can move at the rhythm that i avoid, and hit me".
And the ultimate defense can be applied for the MUI, with Sonic being fast enough as to hit Goku even when he gets to a level of power that even gods have problems reaching (and, i forgot, it also upgrades his reflexes immensely). Also, hurting Super Sonic is illogical, as he has received attacks from a Zeno-level being without harm.
@@JuanGonzalez-jq1ph Well I just think all the references to speed are more associated with Sonic than Goku. Also Super Sonic has been hurt by Solaris and Dark Gaia.
@@davidpescitelli8004 Dark Gaia's energy is the counterpart of the Emeralds, and Super form relies on that energy. Goku doesn't know that DG lies in the center of the planet, and his attacks don't have that effect (even if he destroyed the planet, DG would spread over, just like in Unleashed).
About Solaris, i'm not sure if Sonic gets hurt or just pulled back, but either way, we are talking about receiving attacks from a being that exists in all of time and space at the same time (and can erase it all at will), the Zen-o-sama of Sonic's multiverse. Not even MUI Goku can do a basic attack at the level of Zeno's power, not to say a multiverse-destroying one, and that was what Solaris was doing while Sonic fought him, so to hurt Sonic, Goku would need to develop a "Zeno-Goku" transformation, or something like that...
The line "never expected this fight from a stranger" fits Goku really well.
But yeah, I definitely see Sonic being the POV character here

NICE, Ultrasonic was already one of my favorite instrumental tracks, and it got vocals! And from what i could understand in the lyrics, in the beggining Sonic and Goku are taunting each other to see who is the fastes and strongest, and by the end they even respect each other. I love this track, it's just so great

Now that's one of the songs I didn't expect to receive a track at all, really surprising.
I'll admit, when I first heard it, I was *really* mixed on it. And to be honest, I still think the way the lyrics are sung don't fit the instrumental perfectly at certain moments. But still, there's a few things that I find interesting about the lyrical additions that make them much more appreciable to me.
First thing is that, unsurprisingly, the song follows quite well the progression of how the fight would actually go. Now, given there's only one singer it's a bit tough to say for sure which lyrics are supposed to represent which character. But some of the lyrics have a very distinct "personality" that makes them fit Sonic or Goku more than the other.
For example, it's quite obvious by the beginning lyrics, which ask the other character for a fight, that Goku would be the one to engage the battle first, looking for a worthy opponent to spar with.
Then, progressing after this, we get the chorus which can easily be assumed that it's from Sonic's POV who's probably taking Goku for a fool to try and challenge him when he's the fastest creature that he knows of in the world.
Something that's also worthy of note in the chorus is the "I tried to change this, I tried to make my way out" segment which I find really nice as, and bare with me here as I may be talking completely out of my ass here if it's not intended that way, I think this isn't supposed to represent both characters but more so their entire franchise and how they both have been running for literal decades, getting numerous versions of themselves with their makers never concluding the series due to their popularity, which results in even the characters themselves "trying to make their way out" of this cycle to finally come to a conclusion to their franchises. This is somewhat further supported by the final lyrics of "no matter what I say, I can't move on
I can't move on, I can't move on" where both characters fully admit that, no matter what, their franchise is bound to continue due to their popularity, even if it means needlessly extending the lifespan of those two characters.
Now of course, like I said, this is pure interpretation so it may be completely wrong. But if it's actually how it's meant to be ? Well this is, at least in my eyes, genius lyric writing.
Going back to the chronology of the song, we get a "duet" of both characters' POVs mixing as both match one another in terms of power for the first time in the song. This is further supported by the fact that the second part of this verse has a double meaning of Goku turning SSJB and completely overpowering Sonic ("Blue/blew right through my ultimate defense") and Sonic realizing that he's actually gonna have to try hard to win this fight, making it something that the both of them actually find fun.
Then we get the second chorus as Sonic probably goes Super Sonic, once again beating Goku there and forcing him, at the end of the chorus, to go Ultra Instinct with the two build up lines.
This is followed by the two resuming the fight in unison as they realize that this is actually gonna end with one of either dying in the end, but still being glad that, whoever wins, they found an opponent that they could respect and had fun fighting against (further emphasized by the "Never expected this fight from a stranger" which directly says that neither of them expected such an incredible fight from someone they didn't even know).
We then get the final clash of the fight as Sonic realizes that, this time, he doesn't have anything to go beyond Goku's Ultra Instinct, recognising that he's actually been matched by his opponent, and even if he manages to win this fight, he'll have actually been equalled and almost beaten, something that he's sure to remember (or not if he actually dies there.)
Overall this version of the song s, like I said at the beginning, one that I was really mixed on when I first listened to it. But as I kept listening to it while writing this review, I appreciated it more and more (even if some of the lyrics still feel a bit out of tune with the instrumental) both due to its sheer quality and also via the story telling inside of it which is extremely appreciable. This isn't the song I expected it to be, but it's probably the song that it needed to be. So amazing job to both people involved there as always.

In the fight there should be an interaction where once Goku goes blue Sonic could say
“I see that you are taking notes from me but sadly I’ve already upgraded to a better form than that” or something along those lines
Then when Goku goes into HIS silver form, Mastered Ultra Instinct, Hyper Sonic sighs and says he's really gotta patent his transformations before Goku rips off his Darkspine form and turns purple.
Goku then chuckles nervously before saying it's Vegeta who has Ultra Ego, not him.

It really doesn't matter if we use Archie Sonic or Game Sonic, Goku gets stomped pretty hard by both. Goku's only good feat is the shared feat he has with Beerus (Destroying Universe 7) which gets him to 4D at best (unless you use the Daizenshuu, even tho most if not all of it has been retconned in DBS). Game Sonic has been at least 5D ever since *Sonic CD* , since there's multiple statements about him transcending and surpassing Space-Time (this is ignoring the fact that the SonicVerse has Space-Time as concepts btw). Not to mention the Super Substance scaling the Chaos Emeralds have (extremely overpowered), and Sonic scales to the Emeralds ever since Adventure 1 (you could use the argument that he scales to them ever since Sonic 3).
Either way, Sonic FTW.

@@jeanchardenoux7991 they exist within the same Cosmology, as parallel universes, and as Zones/Realities (with Archie being stated to be in the "Comic Zone" in a Sonic Shuffle ad). Game Sonic has faced Cosmology Level characters many times, so he very much scales to it.
@@EpicGamer-69 Adds are obviously not canon, and Archie being part of the same cosmology would just create a lot of plotholes. Game Sonic only faced two characters above uni+ (Solaris and Egg Wizard, both of which are only low multi) and he only downscales from both.
