3:26 The sleep aid I recommend
3:41 Helpful demonstrations of acupressure techniques for better sleep
In this video, we’re going to talk about sleeping pills and insomnia. I'm also going to show you how to use certain acupressure techniques to help get rid of stress and sleep better. I understand the feeling of not being able to sleep. It can feel like torture. I really want to help you learn the best way to sleep better.
The two big problems with sleeping pills:
    1. 6 out of 10 people experience side effects from sleeping pills
A few side effects of sleeping pills:
    • Drowsiness
    • Confusion
    • Forgetfulness
    • Tiredness during the day
    2. Sleeping pills may only give you a small amount of extra sleep (less than 30 minutes), and only help you go to sleep 8-20 minutes faster.
How to get rid of insomnia naturally:
    1. Read a book instead of watching TV before bed
    2. Walk (45-60 minutes)
    3. Stretch before bed
    4. Neck technique
    5. Avoid too much caffeine
Another good remedy for sleep disorders:
    • L-tryptophan (take on an empty stomach)
The sleep aid I recommend not only has l-tryptophan, but it also has all sorts of other ingredients to help extract stress and allow you to drift off into a wonderful sleep. Not only will it help you get to sleep faster, but it will also help you wake up more refreshed.

Drugs, drugs, drugs. I realize that some people need medications to live, but doctors tend to overmedicate everything. Witchcraft in the Bible is described by the word we transliterate as pharmacy. Something to think about.

Dr. Berg offers the BEST Advise! I've watched his videos since 2015. I relate to how sick he was in his 20's but for me it continued into my 50's and being very ill. One video at a time (I could barely concentrate). I just kept adding to knowledge and applying. In 2020 looking back and greatful for being so much better!
The accumulation of stress in the body causes horrible symptoms if not dealt with.

I have to laugh at your advice, but am not laughing at you....I live in a one room studio, so I have no choice but to be in the same room all the time. Also, I'm retired, so don't go out a great deal, especially while covid is still running rampant (and I live in a state where it's doing that).

Just got my massage tool! It was the only thing that helped got rid of my laryngitis in the winter. I wish I would've discovered this channel sooner because I went through hell after being diagnose with laryngitis. I was on numerous different acid reducer medications from the ENT, Gastrologist, Urgent care and twice to the hospital because I kept getting sick with intense chest pain, heart burns and stomach problems. Best thing I learned through here is to not rely so heavily on prescription medications due to side effects. And love to hear and practice his healing techniques for so many things. I decided to not take anymore prescription meds for Seasonal Affective Disorder since they made me gained weight, causes nausea and vomiting, and having suicidal thoughts. To combat SAD I did took natural supplements, use a light therapy box and exercise to keep myself awake. I also followed his Keto and fasting diet and lost 30lbs within 3 months too! Next goal is to slowly weaned off of my sleep med Trazodon 150mg and practicing to sleep naturally.

I was hooked on Ambien for along time, not because I needed sleep, but because they gave me a good buzz, yes they are an opiate. Withdrawing from them caused many side effects, including jacking up my BP,and major nausea, but I haven't had one in almost a year now,and no longer crave them. I also started keto at the same time I quit them, which was a good plan, because Ambein made me unbelievably hungry, eating an entire large pizza by myself, was not uncommon after taking an Ambien.

One of the biggest reasons why people do not sleep is worms in their gut! YEP! In the old days, doctors knew this & dewormed their patients twice a year. Just because you don’t see them, does not mean you dont have them. It is estimated that 50-90% of the world citizens have them. It’s not just a 3rd world country issue...it’s every countries issues. In the old days, kids were dewormed prior to going to school each year with caster oil (for 3 days prior to the start of school), now this is not done.
Also, now doctors don’t even suggest this to their patients when their patients discuss their sickness symptoms with their doctors. If you eat pork, you most likely have worms including tape worms, tape worms & other worms might make you skinny if you have a tape worm, but, did you know you could become over weight? YEP! The worms will make you want to eat more & more.
If you have pet’s you have worms, if you garden, have children, have pets, eat sushi, veggies, chicken, beef, fish...basically, eat anything you have them, without even realizing it. The over weight issue of the US citizens is not just related to “junk”food it’s also related to worms & bad micro in the gut. Vets suggest you deworm your pets twice a year...but Doctors now a days, don’ts ever suggest deworming for humans! WHY? In the old days they did, it was part of their protocol. There are many natural remedies to take to deworm your gut. You will be shocked what you find in the toilet. (see you tube for natural remedies, if you are on Rx check with your doctor). There are many videos on this also look up symptoms of worms in humans.
Also, taking a Espsen salt bath prior to bed (filled with magnesium which the body needs to relax) will not only put you to sleep quickly & but, it will help prolong your night sleep. (check with your doctor first, especially if you are on Rx meds). Epson salt can be found in Walmart in the cosmetic section or your local grocery store cosmetic section and has many health remedies. It’s cheap $4 plus. Just google “Epson salt bath” benefits. It works. So does taking magnesium (get tested vitimin deficiency testing done for D, B, Magnesium etc) Another thing doctors have stopped testing for unless you ask for a vitamin & mineral deficiency test. It is estimated that 1 in 3 people are deficient in D, B, Magnesium which are all needed for a healthy active brain & sleep.

Dr Berg, a great video indeed. I have a question for those of us that have to endure shift work. I find my sleep quality and quantity severely lacking and getting worse month by month. Sleeping pills most times are the only way I manage to get some rest (thankfully without side effects). At first I went one month with about 12 hours of sleep total. Then I was put on sleeping meds. After 24 years I was sent to a sleep study. They found that due to my ptsd I dream all night long and wake up exhausted. This is the only thing that Healthy Keto & IF haven't helped. I have added the supplements and trace minerals that my sleep meds remove from my body. I did find that organic lithium helps me get tired, but I still can't fall asleep. Also, I've tried everything else that Dr. Berg has suggested.

I've realized these tablets try to put the body in a state of sleep, but in trying to mimic the body's sleep function they also suspend the body so it can't enter into that most relaxing stage of sleep. It's the same with meds for anxiety and depression. They perform in a similar manner. A test was done which I read about as I actually felt it preventing me entering into full relaxation.

I believe I had mercury poisoning from a dentist... that jacked, damaged, my nervous system. I went for 3 weeks without any sleep. Was placed on Ambien which almost killed me..… was a slow kill. Had flu like symptoms and aches after a few months, then after a year, chest pain, then back pain, then all tendons were ripping and tearing after a few years, then was placed into a electric wheelchair as my arms/hands did not work, then bed bound, then hospice was offered as they claimed I had numerous "auto immune disorders". I was so sick from Ambien for 6 years, and I only took a HALF of a dose. I was evaluated at Mayo and Cleveland Clinic...….. I flew myself to Brazil where I was told it was the Ambien killing me. I still have problems sleeping.. I have tried well over 30 natural, alternative remedies, a shaman, etc... I tried low dose pharma like Benadryl, etc,,,,,, after numerous pharma meds, a small piece, maybe 20mgs of Seroquel is the only thing I have found that works. Otherwise, I sleep 1-3 hours.

Examine the texture of the peanut shell and the horizontal lines on it.
It looks just like the "Orbicularis oculi muscle".
Inside the peanut shell are two oil seeds arranged horizontally side by side.
Just like our eyes lined up horizontally in the "Orbicularis oculi muscle".
(I mean the outer appearance of half-open eyes.)
Peanuts in shell look like closed eyes. Shelled raw peanuts can be good for insomnia.

Every med offsets a delicate balance and Drs really aren’t trained to get any person off any med safely. They don’t understand what we experience physically, mentally or emotionally coming off.
