- Trader Joe's has a dry shampoo now and I was super excited to test it out and review because dry shampoo is a huge staple in my hair care routine. I put it against my tried and true favorite, the Batiste dry shampoo and... as much as I love Trader Joe's their dry shampoo definitely didn't become a new favorite :((

What's your go to dry shampoo? I've been experimenting with different brands, but haven't been able to find better than Batiste so far.

Yes! I saw it on Instagram first and was super curious
Tip! You have to unscrew the top and put it back on to push the product up into the pump, then a lot comes out! Also aerosol bottles seem like you’re getting more product, but the bottle is filled with alcohol, butane, etc. - all the ingredients needed to make it aerosol. You need way less product when it’s just a powder, that’s why the bottle is smaller😊

I recommend you look for no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
Batiste was always my go-to as well!! LOVED your honesty, so sad that it was a disappointing product :( Didn't even know you could do toxic ingredient comparisons online, wow! I used to use lots of dry shampoo too (you know, when I actually had somewhere to go and actually brushed my hair LOL). Ahhh good times

Yes me too, I've had good experience with most of their beauty products, but I guess not every one is a winner :))
I never knew that Trader Joe's came out with a dry shampoo, but I'm so glad I didn't purchase it myself! My affordable ride or die dry shampoo is the batiste! I've been sent the Ouai one, and that is one I really enjoyed (it doesn't feel powdery at all, and really made my hair feel clean!) Great review :) xxx

If only companies would regulate fragrance or be transparent about how they source frangrances, I think so many could get a better score 🤷🏽♀️ I haven’t used dry shampoo but I was curious how it worked! I’m glad the Trader Joe’s one had clean seeming ingredients but too bad it wasn’t as easy to use or effective!
Yess! I feel like they usually explicitly say it if it's non-toxic fragrance. If they don't, I just assume it's questionable lol
One of the biggest pet peeves I have with hair care products is when they seem to just spit out a bit & take forever to apply. Thanks for the review, they seem to have other good skin care products, but I guess every company has an off day!
Yes! I like their skin care, I've had really good experience with almost everything and the price has been really affordable too. This dry shampoo was def a miss for me, but you're right, it's normal to have hits and misses :)
Omg, I didn't know Trader Joe's sells dry shampoo!! How cool! Too bad it wasn't the best quality :( It seems a bit overpriced considering how small it is! Sucks that it didn't clean your hair all the way through either :( I love Batiste too!!! Omg, I need to check out that website to look up ingredients! I'm so surprised this product isn't made with better ingredients :( Hopefully, their future beauty products will be better :)
Yess, I was super curious to try it because I generally love their beauty products! I wasn't a huge fan, but I saw some positive reviews online too, so I guess it works for some people. That website is really handy to keep you informed about your products, I used to be kind of obsessed with only using products that were in the green categories, but I've chilled a little. Still it's nice to know and make informed decisions :))

The Not Your Mother’s dry shampoo is a game changer! I’ve tried at least 10 dry shampoos in the past 5 years and recommend it to anyone I know. You should give it a shot :)
