I have long hair and I did not need a lot of it. I have very aging fried hair, so I don’t focus on the whole length of my hair when I’m shampooing. Instead, I really focus on the scalp because my scalp is oily and the rest of my hair is dry. I just want to say it does make my hair soft (I have not bought the conditioner yet as I wanted to see what the shampoo was like first) I absolutely ADORE how my hair smells with a shampoo. Normally, I’m not a huge lemongrass scent fan but for some reason I do love how my hair smells with this. I wanted to add you are right that it really strips the hair though . And for that reason, I don’t use it every time I shampoo either..
