Best Dry Shampoo Powders - Before & After

It's the battle of the best dry shampoo powders on the market. But which one is the BEST?! Dry shampoo is an essential product in my hair care since it absorbs the oil buildup in your roots and it prolongs your hairstyle. That means less washing of the hair and more of enjoying life. For the past week, I tested out 4 different dry shampoo powders ranging from $12 - $28.

I think I'm going to try the Kristin Ess Fragrance Free Dry Shampoo Powder. I like the dispenser as well and it seems to work the best. I also liked the way your hair looked after using the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo, and after 3 days, wow! That's impressive. I've tried aerosol dry shampoos and and they always seem to make oily hair worse for me and I hate the smell and my husband can't stand it when I use it because of the smell. I have to let the bathroom air out after using any of them. He's extremely sensitive to smells and I've tried soo many different kinds to see if there were any that didn't bother the both of us. I even tried Tresseme Pro Pure ( No aluminum, silicone, sulfates, parabens and dyes) and it still had that very strong alcohol hair spray type smell to it. Very disappointing because I try to use all natural products if I can. I never even thought about powder dry shampoos because I typically only use them when I travel because I'm usually very busy, and don't want to waste time washing and drying my hair too much if I can help it. I wash my hair more often at home because it's so oily. ( My hair stylist said that it was ok, and not making it worse like everyone says that it will, and my hair actually needs it. It's a real pain in the ass!)
I honestly hadn't thought of dry shampoo powder in several years because in high school I'd actually use baby powder, which does work. I recently ordered from Prose customized shampoo, conditioner, and their recommended dry shampoo because when I did their questionnaire I mentioned several times that I had very oily hair. It has the same dispenser as the Kristin Ess and a really nice smell. It works like a charm, but it comes in a VERY small bottle for $25. I think only 1.4 OZ. Thank you for the reviews. I've been looking for a good product at a reasonable price that actually had product in the bottle, and works well!

I was surprised that you picked the Bumble one because you mentioned it leaving more of a white cast and felt more gritty, which some others didn’t do that for you 🤷🏻‍♀️

I believe it was because the Bumble and Bumble one gave me more volume.

I love putting the Pret A Powder in my hands and applying - still get the volume and not so much of a white cast on my hair! It's so good 💗

That isn't 5 inches and of course powder is powdery! you have to rub it in and brush it! it is not meant for volume! it is there to absorb grease! You should have washed it and waited until wash day to use it! You can't TEST products when it isn't the same circumstances! useless.. How do we know what one to buy?? You are doing it so badly!
