Yes, we are currently deep into development of our CAN Flex Fuel kit for VB WRXs. Hoping to make it available by end of the year. And yes, you need an Accessport in order to utilize our Flex Fuel kits.
Will Accesstuner be available again to everyone now that this is available? Or will I still have to register as a pro garage to tune my own car with an accessport?
You would not be able to use our supporting OTS Maps unless the required parts configuration is the exact same. For other setups, you would need to have a custom tune made by one of our Protuners. - Marshall@COBB
We don't have a video, but our Installation Instructions are very detailed. This installation is quick and can be done at home pretty easily. - Marshall@COBB cobbtuning.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PRS/pages/2954199253/Subaru+CAN+Gateway+Flex+Fuel+Kit
@@Kevsakii i like mine for a couple of reasons. This CAN system allows me to safely run e85 thru the system as well as pump gas. I like to run different mixtures every so often to help clean out some deposits that may be there. Also, if running ethanol fuel, it is important to run pump gas thru regularly to burn off some of the water that may be in the system. For me it has worked out pretty good; however, i will say it is on the pricey side. I have had good experience with the Cobb OTS maps and a really good experience with COBBs customer service.
Upgrading the HPFP is not required for use with our Power Package / OTS Map but is recommended for higher power applications or on older cars where the HPFP may be a bit tired. - Marshall@COBB
Aww man, is there no other way to mount the CAN module? My dual catch cans sits dead on the same spot and I don't want to give them up. Somewhere behind the fender shroud maybe?
We have a prototype reverse mount bracket in the works - reach out to our Customer Service Team if that is something you would be interested in! - Marshall@COBB
Most GD cars are pre-CAN so this would not be a feasible solution. We may adapt our NexGen kits at some point, but it is not something we are currently working on. - Marshall@COBB
lol it’s wild I’ve had a flex fuel built block stage 2 iag 2018 VA WRX making 400/400 back in 2021. Put over 15k into that build.. I now have a 2022 VB WRX with transmission stability and intake side mods (ets intake, Perrin turbo inlet & diverter valve) making 320/350, spent just under 1500$ on that… if I pop E in there I’ll be damn near 380/400….. That’s why VA owners hate the new WRX, and if I still had my VA I would be butt hurt too.
So this is just a way for people to go greenspeed compatible flex without a custom tune on 15-21wrx? Are there other advantages to the can gateway?
Are you guys going to be releasing this for the 22+ WRX, and another question is that do you have to have an accessport to be able to run this

We do not currently have plans to re-release end user Accesstuner software. - Marshall@COBB
Can I run this with my stage 2 parts that arent cobb and get it retuned for flex fuel?

Is there an install video for this anywhere?

@@cobbtuning yeah luckily I saw the link you have on the piece of paper that came with it, install was quick and easy only about 1.5 hours
We need an updated kit for the gr 08-14 Wrx
U don’t have flex yet?
@@JermJermFlores I don’t 🫣😅
Is there install video ?
I did this install today pretty straight forward. Removing the tmic made things very simple. The instructions on the website were very helpful.
@@jstanhope77is it worth it? Making 290 wheel on 91 pump. Definitely wanna be close to 350 wheel

Now all I need is a CARB EO and im ready to buy (damn CA)
Working on it!
Will I need the nexgen stage 2 package before installing this?
If you're wanting to use our supporting COBB OTS Map, yes.
can you run all of this with stock injectors and fuel pumps?
Yes!
What Andrew said, yes! - Marshall@COBB
What he said!
what is that light under the hood?
It's either a Snap-On or Milkwaukee Under-Hood light. Highly recommend for wrenching!
Is it this expensive because i wouldnt need to change out the high pressure fuel pump? Would the high pressure pump not give out at e50/60?

If you have radium cans you can make the kit fit> I did with out problems.
What if I already have an accessport but nothing else. Is there a package option for that?
You would simply need to combine both the NexGen Stage 2 components and the CAN Flex Fuel Upgrade Kit. - Marshall@COBB
@@cobbtuning simply $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$4
I know this is for the Subaru market. Is there a chance that the Ford F-150 Raptor’s will get a similar kit?
It is certainly possible and something we hope to offer across multiple platforms. No ETA for Ford Flex Fuel at the moment, though.
Ok time for a VB kit now!
No
That's the plan! Hopefully later this year.
@@ceejaym10 the hate is strong with this one.
@cobbtuning please post updates. I've been waiting on this for sure
What about fuel pumps will we still need hi and lo upgrade fuel pumps with this?
Nope. Stock for both is fine.
Ideally you want at least the in tank low pressure fuel pump
Will this be CARB compliant anytime soon? Asking for a friend in California 😊

Cali is the worse for everything lol
What if we have the old flex fuel kit? Literally bought it right before it was not supported anymore. Expensive paperweight 😭😭😭
We offer upgrade options that only include what you would need to change from the old analog setup to the CAN setup!
@@cobbtuning perfect! 🤩 I’ll take a look!
When will this be for the VA STI? Is this compatible already?
Been out for the VA STi for over a year….
Our NexGen Flex Fuel Kits are currently available for the 2008-2021 WRX STI, we do not currently plan to bring the CAN system to those cars.
@@cobbtuning awesome. Thanks for the reply
