It would be really awesome if the CAN module had more sensor inputs. An integrated wideband controller would be amazing and other inputs to allow for things like like oil pressure or temp would be nice too.
Indeed! The Gateway itself is definitely capable of accepting more than the two inputs we are offering for Flex Fuel and we plan to add more sensor options in the future. - Marshall@COBB
We don't have a video, but our Installation Instructions are very detailed. This installation is quick and can be done at home pretty easily. - Marshall@COBB cobbtuning.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PRS/pages/2954199253/Subaru+CAN+Gateway+Flex+Fuel+Kit
can you get the flex fuel kit without the fuel pressure kit? and is there benefit of the fuel pressure kit besides being able to see the fuel pressure?
You might be ok with out it for a cob ots flex map. A pro Tuner will want the fuel pressure kit. The FA runs out of fuel for the injectors it helps the tuner dial in the most power.
You can, but we recommend using both. Our OTS Maps are configured to accept Fuel Pressure data and require that sensor input be present. - Marshall@COBB
We have not yet released CAN Flex Fuel support for ADM vehicles. Our software for those cars does still support the older style flex fuel kits available on the market.
Fuel pump upgrades are not required when using CAN FF with our OTS Files/Power Package but an in-tank pump upgrade may be a good idea for some older WRXs. We sell the AEM units and have had great luck with them over the years. The main issue with higher ethanol content is lack of lubricity compared to gasoline. Good practice is to cycle through some lower ethanol (E10) fuel every few tanks or keep overall ethanol content 65% or lower. - Marshall@COBB
Yes. Currently, you would need a custom tune from a Protuner but in the future we intend to offer Stage 1 and Stage1+ calibrations for cars without the full NexGen Stage 2 Power Package. - Marshall@COBB

Does this work fine for ADM WRX's?
We have not yet released CAN Flex Fuel support for ADM vehicles. Our software for those cars does still support the older style flex fuel kits available on the market.
Do we need to upgrade the fuel pump(s) to be e85 compatible? If so, at what E% does this become a problem?

Is the fuel pressure sensor install plug and play? Do you have remove parts to get to it?
@@cobbtuning cool thx
